Nothing Special, It's Like I'm Watching August Underground.
DarkSpotOn30 November 2022
Well first off, this movie is based on a real-life killed Robert Berdella. The main actor is the only one that gives a show, everyone else is just there for the sake of being there. No Plot, no character development, no story, no nothing. This movie was made in 2009!? I thought I was watching a film from 1970 or 1980! The whole movie is just Berdella drugging and killing people. That drags to the end of the movie. Sure the movie may be realistic I don't know, but it's not interesting to watch. It gets dull. If you are into low-budget stuff like August Underground, Megan is Missing, CockFace Killer, Crazy Murder, and Necro Files, you will enjoy this.

However, if you are into movies with a plot, good acting, and a good story, and are watchable like Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Golden Glove, or the classic Ted Bundy film. You will not like this because it has nothing that those film got. Honestly, I was bored through the entire movie. SPOILER: The one guy that found a Skull Head in the grass, and was so intelligent to ask the killer what's this, and then gets killed just made all of this worst. Cuz we had somebody that if they had a brain none of this would have happened! There's nearly no plot. I was just waiting for the movie to end. However the only positive I can give is, some of the Gore effects look kinda good, except the eyes gore, you can tell the eyes aren't real. No, I can not recommend you this movie at all. There are much better Serial-Killers movies out there. I would say August Underground was more interesting than this thing was. None of our characters have any personality, you can't care for any of them, I really couldn't. However the killer itself Berdella seems like an interesting case to look into, when I watched this movie, the actor that's playing Berdella, reminds me more of Kemper.

The Monks from Phantasmagoria are out to get you for some reason undisclosed

Berdella may be based on actual facts, but it takes way too long to come to them -those facts that matter, those things which form the basis of watching any movie that is even in the slightest degree good enough to fascinate even the lowest of members in the audience: no, here there is nothing that can convey us as viewers who expect violence and murder, not a remake of the latest Jack Nicholson going mad again-picture by Warner Bros or MGM or whatever (if these both still nowadays in these diabolical Sony-takeovers). The story is henceforward not interesting, predictable and the acting is bad; for some reason the soundtrack is filled with this choir of monks which fitted well on the background of successful early computer games like Phantasmagoria and The 7th Guest, but not here, oh no: it's just not in its place for no reason whatsoever. In total, this movie is so bad on so many ways that it simply fails to keep the intereest of the viewers present long enough to reach the point where things go out of line -which, again, is the whole reason why anyone would be watching this sort of serial killer biopic to begin with-.
