Review after watching the first 7 episodes. This is a light-hearted fantasy adventure based on a series of novels. The artistic design is appealing but the animation is rather basic. The story concepts are nothing new, but the overall design feels fresh. The humor is funny and there is ample action with non-gory violence. The plot moves along nicely and you finish each episode wishing for more. The characters are appealing and the artwork reminds me of shows like Scrapped Princess and the Familiar of Zero. People of all ages can enjoy this.
The premise is that a girl on life support in a hospital is given stimulation by the virtual reality game Leadale. When there is a power outage, she dies and somehow her soul is captured in the game world. Cayna is very charming, beautiful, and rather accepting of her new situation. She is now one of the most powerful characters in Leadale, and goes about exploring this world as an adventurer. There are evil forces lurking in the background and Cayna hopes to safely secure her place in this world. She tries to avoid notice, but she can't help herself, as she astounds everyone with her extreme powers.
