light fantasy adventure suitable for the family
bill_allison19 January 2022
Review after watching the first 7 episodes. This is a light-hearted fantasy adventure based on a series of novels. The artistic design is appealing but the animation is rather basic. The story concepts are nothing new, but the overall design feels fresh. The humor is funny and there is ample action with non-gory violence. The plot moves along nicely and you finish each episode wishing for more. The characters are appealing and the artwork reminds me of shows like Scrapped Princess and the Familiar of Zero. People of all ages can enjoy this.

The premise is that a girl on life support in a hospital is given stimulation by the virtual reality game Leadale. When there is a power outage, she dies and somehow her soul is captured in the game world. Cayna is very charming, beautiful, and rather accepting of her new situation. She is now one of the most powerful characters in Leadale, and goes about exploring this world as an adventurer. There are evil forces lurking in the background and Cayna hopes to safely secure her place in this world. She tries to avoid notice, but she can't help herself, as she astounds everyone with her extreme powers.

It finally ended today

Well, it finally ended today. And it was a good, wholesome story about a dead girl and all the fake people she meets and a bunch of overbearing people that like her too much. No but this show was actually pretty good, I always looked forward to it each week it came out. It's not the best show ever: there's no real plot, everything is resolved within an episode or the first 5 minutes of the next episode, and the animation isn't that great. Even though this does sound like i'm ripping on leadale it was a fun ride, and I would recommend it for some lighthearted, wholesome, vanilla fun.

In the Land of Leadale
Tweekums25 March 2022
Keina Kagami is a seventeen year old girl who has spent many years in hospital following an accident. While there she plays a computer RPG set in the fantasy world of Leadale. One day she dies while playing the game and finds herself living in Leadale; she is now and elf mage named Cayna. Two hundred years appear to have passed between the time she played and the present time in Leadale. When she sets about learning more about the current time there she discovers that several senior figures are grown-up children she didn't know she had! As is often the case for Isekai protagonists she is far more powerful than anybody around her.

If you want gritty action and adventure this won't be the show for you; however if you want a gentle story with mild adventure and fun characters. The stories are pleasant enough are fun while watching but I doubt they will remembered for long. Cayna is a likeable protagonist and the supporting cast are fun. The animation is decent enough and the characters are distinctive. Overall I wouldn't say this is a must see but it is good gentle fun; just the thing if you want to wind down with a no stress show.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

Amazing family loved adventures

Warning: Spoilers
I think what's unique about this anime is the main characters family and their actions, I also love the design of characters in the anime series. I like the process they made the main character think about how life should be handled in her new life that she use to call a game. I really do hope we see more seasons to this anime series because of how great it was with building onto the story and characters. The series has a lot of story left to tell and build with the new addition of characters being added along the story and how their relationships affect the series. This series is addicting with all the concepts they add together and how they play it out.
