Simple to comprehend.

The plot is really straightforward and simple to comprehend. The plot concentrates around the people who work at the "Ryokushou" wagashi store, a Japanese confectionery. "Nagomu", the son of the business owner who relocated to Tokyo to pursue his career, makes the decision to return and assist at the shop. He then learns that they have taken in a young child named "Itsuka" and is requested to take on the role of father to her. The plot develops in accordance with what goes on in the Ryokushou store.

Deaimon's characters are quite endearing. They are excellently communicated. Though, as the primary leads, Nagomu and Itsuka receive more attention. One of the best things about this anime is how they interact with one other. They are wholesome and a lot of fun to see.

The artwork is passable. The animation is quite well-done. I would want to point out that the manner the wagashi producing process was demonstrated was excellent. It portrayed every step involved in producing real candies in the real world. They occasionally shared some factual knowledge about it, which was another positive aspect.

The opening and closing OSTs all complemented one other so perfectly. It's without a doubt my favorite conclusion. To be honest, I never skipped it. It is peaceful and comforting to hear.

There's also nothing to be unhappy about here. It's well paced and they show a reasonable amount of stuff in every episode. Everything displayed is simple to comprehend.

Best slice of life anime I've ever watched i don't know why its rating is 7, I mean it totally deserve way more than that its a mix of comedy, drama, romance, emotional, happiness etc . If you want to refresh, avoid stress than you must see it trust me you will not regret it..!

all plot threads go nowhere

Bit of everything pleases nobody. Traditional japanese confectionary art interesting. Feels like a light novel trying to never end.

Too many anime tropes and not enough genuine plot, too episodic in nature. Mid tier.

A refreshing Watch Anime!

Many of us may have tried watching Shounen anime, and thriller movies and now all we want is feel-good anime to make us refresh and give us a soothing feel, this anime is for you.

The Plot is not much. A simple plot with many sub-plots which may seem like filler but that's the anime.

This anime has Romance, a love triangle and Emotions. This anime talks about the complex relationship of the MC with a little girl and how it develops throughout the story.

The Love triangle is not a messed one. It's done perfectly by showing us the perspectives of the characters included in the triangle and how they feel for each other.

All the actions of the characters have good reasoning which makes the characters more fun and engaging to watch. They are lot of Comedy included and some characters and only for comic purposes.

Since it is a Japanese confectionery-based anime, I was more into the animation. The animation soothes our minds and body. It has that particular power.

Not Great As Expected...

The story dosent have drama at all, it isnt too realistic at all, as the kid whose in 5th grade working in the shop, is acting like an adult and the 28 year old guy acting like a kid isnt realistic at all, the story was good but dosent make sense at some places at all, the story consists of only comedy without any sad side in it. It didnt end well, the 10 yr old girl didnt find what she was looking for like the story still keeps going on never ending. There isnt any serious part at all in this story as it makes the story less interesting. I dont really think this series should get 7 as the rating as it dosent meet our minimum expectations. It only wastes your time watching it. But I think some people may like it as they may have different expectations.
