The show was originally intended to have a full second season, but the scripts were reworked and shot as two 120-minute telefilms to wrap up Alice's story as Andréia Horta signed a exclusivity clause with Globo network for years to come.
Luka Omoto was first chosen to play Marcela and Silvia Lourenço was set to play Dani before filming began.
