Dexter is uncomfortable for having killed and innocent and he visits Arthur Mitchell and his family and he learns that Trinity is planning to travel to Tampa. Dexter plots a scheme to travel to a Convention of Meteorology in Tampa to kill the serial-killer. He forces Trinity to give a ride to him and they travel together. Dexter tells to Trinity that he had killed a man by mistake in a hunting accident. Trinity brings Dexter to the house where he lived when he was a child and he accidentally killed his sister in the bathroom and Dexter concludes that this was the place where all started.

Meanwhile, in the Miami Metro, Debra shows cases of bludgeoning and convinces Lieutenant Maria La Guerta to chase The Trinity Killer. They decide to collect DNA from people that match the killer's profile expecting to find the serial-killer.

"Road Kill" is another episode of Dexter and Trinity, and the writers have put on stall the death of the serial-killer. This season is repetitive and after six or seven episodes, the plot is no longer engaging. Dexter rescuing Trinity is terrible and inconsistent with his code and feelings. My vote is eight.

S4.E8 - Road Kill [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
My Reaction / Review for Dexter Season 4 Episode 8 ''Road Kill'' (S4. E8): Episode 7 was good and I gave it a rating of 8.8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Why does Trinity need a coffin? Dex and trinity traveling together, I definitely did not expect that. Angel and Maria need to decide if they are together or not, they could lose their job over this. I didn't expect that trinity would share his secrets with Dexter. After that he shared the same secrets with this family, its like he is losing it. Wait trinity is not the one who shot Deb? Then who is it? This new information is confusing for sure. Is that neighbour flirting with Rita? Wow, trinity was about to kill himself and Dex stopped it, Dex should have let him die. Overall a pretty good episode, my rating is 9/10.

Remorse

Warning: Spoilers
1. Tripnity 2. Angel gets it 3. Korean home invasion

If we haven't come to this conclusion, This show is about identity. For four seasons, Dexter has been rediscovering pieces of his identity through the mirrors of other people. In this episode he learns about remorse. Trinity was trying to kill himself, but Dexter and other people save them. It just seemed unlikely that Trinity was killing for 30+ years and he was just changed from the conversation with Dexter. Obviously remorse and guilt pushed him towards his killing activities, but it just feels off to me that he is so willing to end this life. I can't really predict how this season is going to turn out at this point.
