Warning: Spoilers
The Trinity Killer forces a woman called Tarla Grant to jump from a store at the old port; otherwise he would kill her husband and two kids. Meanwhile Dexter is having troubles at home and in his community, since Rita does not allow him to drive; Astor is having the typical behavior of adolescents; and a vandal is destroying the properties and the neighborhood has organized a watching group to report incidents and security lights that may affect Dexter's secret life. Quinn, Debra and Dexter are assigned to investigate the jumper case and despite the reluctance of Debra, the case is closed as suicide. Meanwhile Dexter associates the tourist killer with Johnny Rise and when Angel and LaGuerta visit his girlfriend Nikki Wald, the couple shoots the police officers. The relationship of Debra with Anton is affected with the presence of Lundy. Dexter decides to punish the hooligan that is affecting his life and has a surprise.

"Blinded by the Light" is a reasonable episode of Dexter, where the problem in his community and Rita affected his daily life. Debra is questioning her relationship with Anton. Angel and Lt. LaGuerta are having trouble to hide their relationship. Quinn is involuntary providing classified information to the reporter on bed. The Trinity Killer is really a deranged middle-aged man. My vote is seven.

1. Rita doesn't let Dexter drive 2. Neighborhood watch is keeping Dexter on edge 3. Quinn is sus

Love how the season is going so far. It's doing a great job on depicting Dexter with a lot more responsibilities and how those are putting him tough spots in a comical and thrilling manner. There aren't many dull moments in the episodes. Debra's relationship with Lundy is getting slightly interesting. Rita saw Dexter breaking the security light, which will probably make her believe that he's the vandal. The reporter on top of Quinn is definitely going to cause problems. All the subplots are dense and nothing loose about them.

Warning: Spoilers
Blinded by the Light is about a street vandal causing the start up of a neighborhood watch, threatening Dexter's late night comings and goings. The Trinity Killer also claims his next victim.

The episode has a very comical tone, well as much as an episode of Dexter can be comical, apart from the terrific death scene. John Lithgow's killing it. Dex is forced to be a passenger because of his concussion, don't know if loud music is the way to go. That neighbour seems pretty damn annoying, showing up every two minutes, putting lights aimed at your house without asking first, always talking to your woman. Some good family character moments here and Masuka cracks me up. An excellent episode.

Harry Morgan: It would have made people think, "why this kid? why him?" You can't afford to have people asking those questions.

My Reaction / Review for Dexter Season 4 Episode 3 ''Blinded by the Light'' (S4. E3): Episode 2 was cool and I gave it a rating of 8.5/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Its hard for Dex to blend in, nothing new hehe. Seems like the trinity killer found his next victim. Having this woman jump, he chose a different MO this time, interesting. No bathtub this time. Damn, Masuka's car is huge. A neighborhood watch? That sucks for Dex. It wont be easy to go unnoticed now. Wow this kid is literally destroying the whole neighborhood? Oh no its the dad. Lately Dexter has been very stressed. Its so obvious that this reporter is using Quinn to get information. Debra feels guilty working with Lundy. She should tell Anton that Lundy is her ex. Wow what ending with Dex breaking the light bulbs and Rita watching. Overall a really good episode, my rating is 8.7/10.
