The only good episode this season (...so far)
ciffou23 December 2010
I'm missing the last 3 episodes of the show but so far this has been for me the only one worth my attention. It was great, it focused on their feelings and thoughts and they even revisited some past actions. I liked that. It was -in some way- similar to the Julia McNamara episode (the best of season 2) because you were intrigued throughout the whole episode and you felt compelled to watch more. So far this season has been more of the same, over and over, the same plot, the same things not fixed but revisited as if they are about to be dealed with, but no...and I'm wondering if Christian is going to think again about his children, how she killed Gina on that rooftop or if Matt finally is going to vanish forever and for always (what an annoying character who hasn't paid yet his hit-and-run).

I side with Christian on this one... that girl should run ten miles!

The only other reviewer here liked this episode, calling it the only good one this season so far. Aw, no, fella, I don't understand. Gee, this is LIKE SO BORING because of all the yakkety-yack COME ON DON'T GET ME WRONG maybe if these guys we're real actors AND I really had SOME SYMPATHY for these two characters, but... Come of it, who cares about these two? They're only good for messing up. The one is the Chief Blunderer and the other one is dragged along with him time and again, and I sure as hell wouldn't wanna watch DUMB AND DUMBERER go into self-analysis.

That said, there is something of considerable note:

I side with Christian on the Matt + Ramona issue. The girl needs a bucket of ice water thrown over her head, pronto! Matt is the lowest form of weakling, he'd drag her down into whatever abyss is closest. He is not be trusted, even with - now - the best of intentions. Christian might be glorified scum himself, and I throughly detest him, but everything he says to Matt is just exactly as it is. Goodie- goodie Sean does the wrong thing here, he should chase after Ramona with said bucket of ice water.
