Why?
daves_train28 February 2010
You know, I was raised during Cartoon Network's golden age and I remember them saying "Cartoons all the time" or something like "Cartoons 24/7". Apparently someone forget this rule and now we are seeing a slew of some of the worst shows I have ever seen. Even if these shows weren't on Cartoon Network they would be terrible. Now before I wrote a review of this show I watched like 2 episodes and I wanted to just crumble into a little ball and remember the good times.

I checked on Wikipedia for some research and found that not only is this show for the 9-17 year old age but it is a huge commercial success. First of all, I know not one person who watches this show. I watched it with my 11 year old brother and found it as dull as I did. I also want to know how this is a commercial success? It is like Mythbusters but really stupid. With Mythbusters it is fun to see Jamie and Adam due this stuff, but with this show they seem to take the fun out of it and go for the EXTREME thing that all teenagers like(by the way, I am 17 so don't assume that I'm a parent.). I also checked that one season only has six episodes so that when they say that they were on for 5 seasons it is really like 3 and a half or something.

The "experiments" are really dull and are something a drunk frat boy would think of. I even saw these guys host a block which really got me irritated when I had to watch them after Ed, Edd, and Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog. I could go into detail about the kids but they are all the same to me and they scream at everything.

I would never recommend this show to anybody, this is Cartoon Network freaking out and try to be like Nickolodeon and the Disney Channel. It's sad to say that I can't tell the differences in the channels except in the names only.

What would happen if they canceled this show
clintonkeep11 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
If the excessive use of the word "dude" does not get on your nerves, the unprompted screaming over stunts that aren't actually stunts will. I make a point to turn off my TV when this show is on. I don't know anyone who watches this show nor do I know of any kid that acts as spastic as this trio, plus the fact that "this is NOT a cartoon". For some reason Cartoon Network has decided that non-animated shows belong on their {cartoon}network. As of 2010 they have canceled a lot of really good cartoons only to be replaced with junk like this. Three over-excited teenage kids ranting, screaming, freaking out and OVER-ACTING about nothing. The only people that seem to (really) like this show are the kids hosting it. I'm sure they are directed to act this way to hype it up, but when you try to watch a few minutes of it, you wonder why they are so ecstatic, screaming and jumping all over the screen like they just won the lottery. I wonder if they would act the same way if someone said, Dude, what would happen if we canceled this show?

This show is TERRIBLE. My 7yr old wanted to watch it so I figured we'd give it a chance. I couldn't stand it. Besides having to deal with the one kid with the long hair being very loud and obnoxious the stunts are totally STUPID. This is NOT like Mythbusters for kids it is more like Jackass for kids.

The episode I saw was them jumping into a pool of lemonade to see who could make a bigger splash. They finally ended up dropping a truck into the pool to see if it made a bigger splash. DUH! I can live a long and happy life without EVER watching this show again!

I would give this less than a star if I possibly could!

Poison on children's brains.

Warning: Spoilers
This show is on Netflix and still appears when the profile is set for kids 12 and under, with he big kid setting. I could see maybe teens watching this show, but my 8 year old watches this like a mindless drone, and the only way to block it is to set his account to little kids. This is Netflix's fault, but nonetheless, this show is horrible. It's just kids destroying stuff. I'll catch my son watching this and i'll force him to turn it off and go out and play or something. But what does he do? He goes out and destroys stuff! So of course I have to explain to him how destroying stuff is bad, a point he clearly has a hard time understanding, because of this show glorifying it. They may be able to afford to destroy a car, however, I can't afford to have my car destroyed by an impressionable 8 year old watching this show. It is defiantly a teen's only show. Even then, it is of low substance.

Worst Cartoon Network show from 2009-2011 worst show ever in the whole history first Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends ended then Ed Edd N Eddy. Now we have this crappy live action show from the year 2009. I'm glad that Cartoon Network Real ended in may 28th 2010.

Dude, why'd this happened?
isaiahralda4 June 2021
This show is very boring, dumb, and insanely forgettable. At least Incredible Crew tried to be interesting; this show is just terrible. This show is the one I forgot years later, and I'm not surprised why. The show's concept is lame and the episodes are awful. Definitely skip this one. It's not the absolute worst CN show I've seen, but it's the most forgettable.

This was the best show for me.
armaniprice12 February 2020
I personally LOVE this show. I thought this was the stuff when I was younger and will probably think this is the best show I've watched. The old Cartoon Network was the best. The new Ben 10 and Netflix Adaption of Power Puff Girls that got made is trash. I found this show to be the best one when I was younger, right next to Flapjack, Johnny Bravo, Chowder, and Ben 10. I used to watch these five shows in and out. If one wasn't on I would watch the other. I was younger and not all that smart but I came to be smart. I just really found this show to be a great one, and no matter how "bad" and how "annoying" the show was to others. This show for younger people who likes "pranks" and "experiments" is very recommended.

Okay, but could crank it up a little more.

This show is pretty cool to me. I enjoy it every Wednesday at 8 pm and it usually makes me happy. I think it's cute and reminds me of MythBusters, except for kids. They do experiments and tests based on ideas they brainstorm. I think It needs to be a touch more interesting. I usually like 2 out of 3 experiments, which should be enough for me, an ADULT, watching a KIDS show. The directing and cinematography is not great. I hate the way the camera is angled for their little comments about the experiments: up the nose shots, to close to their faces and I can tell their comments are scripted so it is a little predictable, but lets remember, ADULTS, this is a KIDS show. The show has a small amount of gross-ness: Pimple popping and boogers. I'm not so into that stuff but outside of those types of things I usually enjoy my time with the Dudes.

Fun and Very Entertaining

Warning: Spoilers
Personally, I believe that Dude What Would Happen is a very good show. In it the actors show their funny sincere friendship with each other, and the fun they have in their experiments throughout every minute. This in turn transfers over to the audience, giving us a great time as well. The experiments that take place on Dude What Would Happen are ones nobody really ever thinks about going out and doing. They not only do it until the concluding result, but they show the insane fun that takes place between the two points. For example, in their 4th episode they tried dodge ball in the dark, something you probably didn't think of doing this morning and had a blast while in the process. Now I get how everybody is angry about how this show isn't a cartoon on Cartoon Network, but come on guys lighten up, look at this show as a show. I for one think Dude What Would Happen is awesome!:D

I Enjoyed It!

I used to watch this with my brother on Netflix when we were younger and it was fun and interesting to watch! I usually don't care for Cartoon Network, but this show was good. It was silly, and they did wild experiments (like the kind that pop into your head when you're trying to sleep), but it was the show's intention to be that way.
