With time it is now getting clear that creativity, merit and quality has inverse relationship with Bollywood, a mafia kingdom of substandard people...But same time it has direction proportionality to TVF like OTT platform. Just see that how with time OTT has matured with world class stuffs. And TVF is the best example of that. TVF which used to look a spoof content platform with amateurish people trying to come with fresh ideas untill we started seeing content like Yeh Meri Family and Pitchers...is now giving us finest quality shows, one after another. Just take a look on this series of top rated shows from them in past couple of years: Kota Factory, Panchayat, Gullak 1, Gullak 2, and now this masterpiece.
You need to notice the way these guys have put picture perfect stuff in almost every department, and all of them showing great evolution with time: Cinematography is exceptional, screenplay and writing is exceptional with some phenomenal dialogues, direction and editing is class apart stuff...and what to say about performances...mindblowing. Every actor has caught the understanding of their character to such a perfection. I jsut give an example. Just notice the perfection of performance of a comedy scene by Ghuri while drinking...he wanted IAS vehicle having siren sounding Peon Peon Peon...gulping beer...then again continuing Peon peon Peon....and suddenly GF phone comes and voice changes! Preaching goes away! Or the liberative speeches with excellent pausitivity by Sunny HInduja aka Sandeep Bhaiyya...makes you feel that everyone in this world needs one Sandeep Bhaiyya. The opening scene with SK giving lecture in the IAS coaching is a phenomenal scene with phenomenal dialogue, exceptional edition and cinematography, and equally great BGM...which gives you the sense of the way show arrives when he says "Doob jao mere Kachuwon is samundar me..." and the way BGM picks up with panoromic view of skyscrapper of central Delhi. Almost every department at sync, bolstering each other. This is called art of making good show. Book every award for this show, if all the remaining episodes of Aspirants are of same level or better.

Most of the subscription based OTT platform shows seem so overrated in comparison to such TVF originals.
They have produced so many highly rated but less heard jewels such as Pitchers, Panchayat, Kota factory, Tripling. Humorously yours, Permanent roommates and the list just goes on.
All their shows are so ingenious without expensive sets and superstars.
Just good storyline, exceptional content and powerful acting.
While Naveen Kasturia (as usual), Shivankit Singh Parihar and Abhilash Thapliyal have astounded everyone with their acting prowess, Sunny Hinduja stood out in his unfathomable role as a mentor. Standing ovation to the entire team of Aspirants.

These series shows the dilemma of an Upsc aspirant from the perspective of an aspirant itself from Delhi, Old Rajinder Nagar to be precise, the Hub of Upsc. It has similar vibes of kota factory but with a more serious and mature presentation. The hardships of an aspirant is shown without negatively affecting their mental state of preparation. On the contrary, it gives them inspiration despite showing the actual reality.
The actors are perfect and dialog delivery is awesome of all the 3 main actors along with Sandeep Bhaiya. Guri has already became my favourite but what people will be more relatable with is the character of SK. The harsh truth behind the consumptuous hours of preparation and how it toils a person both mentally and physically is well informed by his little monologue in the beginning. Overall, I rated it 10 just because it stays grounded and is truthful to the reality and does not show superfluos characterization. I hope it turns out better than Kota Factory which stopped taking it seriously after the first 3 episodes.

TVF is touching the right chord of every heart with its relatable characters and riveting stories that will give you goosebumps. While the first episode of Aspirants was entertaining with clever writing and brilliant performances, episode 2 gives a solid twist in the climax, episode 3 serves the purpose of becoming an IAS officer and episodes 4 proves failure is required to be successful.
Aspirants had already won the hearts with its first 4 episodes. With 5th and the final episode premiered few hours back, Aspirants will certainly go down in the history as one of the best Indian web-series made.
For our viewers to recollect, Aspirants will take you back to the entrance exam preparation days when all you have to do is just focus and study and somehow clear the exam. Like Kota Factory which talked about the IIT entrance exam stress, the first episode of Aspirants tells the story of UPSC aspirant, Abhilash (Naveen Kasturia), who is confused which subject to chose as part of the exam. He discusses the optional subject to choose with almost everyone, right from his friends (Abhilash Thapliyal and Shivankit Parihar) till the chai-wala, until convinced by an experienced UPSC experienced student (Sunny Hinduja). Much like Chhichhore, the first episode of Aspirants runs in two timeline - the exam preparation day and the present timeline when all three friends, Abhilash, Guri and SK are settled in life.
In the second episode of Aspirants, we see Abhilash surprises Guri by calling him and telling him that he will definitely make it to Guri's wedding. The scene later immediately takes you back to the old days when Abhilash gives up the hope to clear the UPSC exam and even finds an excuse to get the refund from his training institute. However, a webinar hosted at his institute changes his perception when he hears out a motivational speech from a guest IAS officer. The speech inspires Abhilash who decides to continue his preparation for UPSC exam.
While the episode 2 ends on a solid twist, in the third episode of Aspirants, we see Abhilash finally meets Guri and SK where Guri finally reveals whom he is getting married to. The scene later immediately takes you back to the old days when Abhilash transforms himself from a person who is always cribbing to a person who approaches a problem with a positive attitude. The reason behind his drastic change is Dharya whom he confides in and falls in love.
While the episode 4 ended on a disappointing note with both Sunny bhaiya and Abhilash not qualifying for the UPSC exam, the fifth episodes the highlight the importance of relationship, love, family and friends which we always leave behind while chasing our dreams. To many fans who were wondering what happened to Sandeep Bhaiya, you will get your answer in the 5th episode. The only question which remained unanswered is how Guri and Dharya meet ?
There is something about TVF's content which will touch every corner of your heart. The beautiful chemistry between Abhilash and Dharya, the scene where Abhilash learns about his landlord's son and lend his helping hands and finally the restaurant scene where Guri finds out that Abhilash is still in love with Dharya as he takes out the specs from the eye cover which was gifted by Dharya during the UPSC preparation days. This will definitely give you goosebumps and a big shout out to Shivankit Parihar for emoting so much through his eyes. The team behind impeccable dramas like Permanent Roommates, TVF Pitchers, Flames, Kota Factory, TVF's Tripling , Cubicles etc, Aspirants is another feather on their cap which is beautifully directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and cleverly written by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish.
If all the episodes of Aspirants is an enduring watch, the credit should go turned out to the creator Apoorv Singh Karki and Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish for writing the screenplay so appropriately. Like the previous episodes, the makers have done a wonderful job in creating the curiosity to watch the finale and I am sure you will not be disappointed. I also liked the background score which gels well with the mood of the web-series.
Aspirants is a performance-driven series and every actor has done justice to their role. Performances by all the actors is a major boost to watch Aspirants which is natural and intrinsic to the core. Clap-worthy 4.5/5.

Most of their shows are mind blowing. This Aspirants is another masterpiece. When you watch you feel like you are living the moment with the story.
Th only issue I feel you have to wait for the next episodes. Since we are use to watch all episodes all together on Netflix. But this content is so superb and story is so good its worth to wait for next episodes.
This show teach lots of lessons of life and completely justify the title.
Do not wait and go watch it and enjoy the show, totally worth the time.
KUDSO to all TVF Team behind this project.

The reviews seem to be really misleading. This is less of a UPSC aspirants story and more of a love story in the Upsc setting. I think people will buy any mediocre stuff served by tvf. It's an average show at best and not worthy of a perfect rating. The Unacademy placement has gotten out of hand and I feel like even if I decided to prepare for civil service exams, I will not even think of using this app because I'm more annoyed than impressed. Kota factory was a wonderful show. People need to understand that it's okay to rate another show fairly if it is not as good as the previous that they loved. It's not fair to rate something based on past work. Peace!

Amazing series with great story and acting. Also very inspiring to learn the difficulties and trials faced by people in power trying to make changes. After kota factory this is the best series by TVF. Great locations and ultimate background music by them and such amazing acting it's really truly international level material. Many thanks to Arunabh kapoor for the brainchild behind tvf for creating such an amazing platform for making such great good content that India can be proud to share with rest of the world actually. Also many thanks for the tireless efforts of the creator and cast crew for making such amazing content.

I think we should express our profound gratitude to TVF for releasing such a great content for free. I would say this web series is created in such a way that it should have a perfect balance of euphoria and emotional too. I found Sandeep bhaiya's acting most relatable and impactful. Guri's role is outstanding. I like his modularity in voice tone. People are very impressed by his role. Gasping for season5.

I wish I could give this series more than 10 stars. It actually deserves more than 10 stars. It is a beautiful portrayal of 3 UPSC aspirants from Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. It exactly shows the situation of every middle class guy, who is preparing for some competitive exam, dealing with family pressure, career pressure & relationship.
The story, script, screenplay, dialogues, editing is just absolutely perfect. And acting by everyone is just phenomenal. Excellence to "Sandeep Bhaiya" for his special and impactful performance. "Sandeep Bhaiya" is not just a character in this series, he is an emotion. His talks inspires you to double up your efforts, if you are preparing for any competitive exam or for anything which would lead your life in a positive direction.
Every time, TVF creates fresh, unique and content-rich series, not like Bollywood crap movies. 'Aspirants' can not be defined in words. It is just another masterpiece by TVF.

There are very few shows that leaves something on you after you finish watching it. This is one of that..It made me feel good. I dont have words to describe this show but bollyhood and other OTT platform should learn from TVF that how they are making one after another mindblowing shows. Sandeep bhai..i.e Sunny Hinduja what an actor..the scenes where he isn't talking much, his expression speaks much more..Kudos to TVF for making this show!!!!

"Aspirants 2" serves as a testament to TVF's evolving storytelling. While still embracing its signature formula, the show delves into deeper, more complex themes. It challenges the notion of success being costlier than failure and reminds us that exam conquests are merely a prelude to life's quests. TVF's journey continues, offering a narrative that's willing to explore the shadows behind the light-heartedness.
Aspirants 2 by TVF is a breath of fresh air in the world of feel-good series. It combines a clever narrative structure with an unlikable protagonist, offering a dose of reality in a predominantly optimistic landscape. While it may have some shortcomings, the series reminds us that success can come at a price and that life's quests are far more profound than exam conquests.

Sad to see such a good topic is taken down the road of love triangle. I mean UPSC is the toughest exam probably in Asia and all you had to show was a love triangle. There were so many plots possible like preparation stress, motivation, suicidal issues, societal perspective on those who are not able to clear exam and you ended up with love story. Wish you had shown some more respect to the exam and students who are currently working on the same.

TVF has been making top notch content since past 10 years. I have been following their each and every series and they have never disappointed.
TVF Aspirant is supposed to be a story of three UPSC aspirant's journey and most importantly - their friendship besides all odds! But unfortunately this seems forgotten as series only focused on Abhilash and other Aspirants were left unattended.
Make no mistake, the series is a masterpiece but it doesn't do justice to it's other characters and story arcs which are left out by unnecessarily adding long pause and slow-motion scenes. The 45-50 mins episodes seems stretched out due to this.
The background music is undoubtedly heart soothing and hits all emotional chords but the songs were all forgettable and boring.
The story only focused on Abhilash's character and other beautiful characters like - Dhairya, Guri and most importantly SK were almost left out. Aspirant fails to develop its other characters which is a huge disappointment.
We never knew what happened to Dhairya after results and how Guri and she met. We never knew what made SK become a tutor and Guri a businessman. The character of SK was remarkably portrayed by Abhilash but unfortunately there was no development to his story arc throughout and he was kept left out. Dhairya's character was also not given a closure.
Sunny Hinduja and Naveen Kasturia were brilliant as usual and so was Shivankit and Namita. The actors held the story and character together.
The series was unnecessarily stretched to create overly long pauses and slow motion dramatic scenes and could have benefited by giving exposure to remaining characters and story arcs.
The series suffers in only focusing on 1 Aspirant and leaving other 4 contrary to what the synopsis suggests.
The third act seemed rushed and leaves too much on implications.
Aspirant aspires to be great but falls short in its effort !

Many of us have no idea about the level of effort that takes place to make a good video.
Aspirants is a 5 episode extravaganza that treats you with beautiful performances by artists who work hard behind the scenes.. You may only see the actors playing the part.. But if you carefully observe, the beautiful shots by the DOP, the perfect arrangement of lights, music that will keep playing in your heads for weeks, the setup arranged by the cinematographer, perfectly curated edits by the editor, simple yet highly engaging script from writer and the awesome vision of the director and producers.. Not even a single scene makes you feel bored or disconnected from the story.. infact, it has been so perfectly projected, even a non UPSC aspirant could relate plots from his/her own life..
TVF's ASPIRANTS is a masterpiece from people whom you have known or heared of. So make sure you remember their names.. Cause these are the names that you will tell your GrandChildren how awesome your days were made by them..

First of all the approach of the TVF Channel was not good at all...They would release the final episode only after reaching 10M subscribers... Really?
I can understand it's a free content but already u have sponsors which you hammer on us throughout the show and also the ads on YouTube etc..Then what was the need to play such vulgur gimic to gain 10M subs...Just give the content to audience and they will decide whether to subscribe or not...What about those 9M subscribers waiting for the final Episode?
Talking about the show it was an average one, was a bit slow amd emotional but passed good messages at times...Can say a must watch for UPSC aspirants but for normal audience it's just another drama series.

Everyone tells of success but no one questions about the struggles and sacrifices behind that success. Perhaps these things make this web series special. When something is needed, all the relationships are left behind to get it, but in the desire of that one, thousands of people go away. This is not just the story of a UPSC aspirants but it is the story of every person who is away from home preparing for a government job whethe it se Railway or the State PCS.
