We had Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, and now New Jersey. Of course, New Jersey being home to the Sopranos and corrupt politicians has a lot to offer despite being between New York City and Philadelphia. They chose the New York city side in Bergen County which is one of the most expensive counties in the country not just in the state because of it's proximity to New York City. Franklin Lakes is lovely suburban town with a country club and golf course with million dollar homes. The housewives there belong to the country club, play tennis and golf, and go to salons. In this housewives franchise, we have two sisters, Caroline and Dina from a large Italian Catholic family in Northern New Jersey. Caroline is the maternal figure in the group. Dina is twelve years younger and the youngest of eleven children. Another housewife is Jacqueline who is married to Caroline and Dina's brother, Christopher. Teresa is the fourth housewife whose husband is in "construction." They are building her dream home which is supposed to look like French Château. Teresa bothered me the most of the women so far because she described her husband "cute and juicy." I thought she was describing a hot dog. She dresses their three little girls identical that was said in the special which is just wrong anyway. She is pushing her old daughter into the limelight and that bothers me. She said it's because her daughter wants to be but I think the fact that she's in a reality show already. Her daughters are already in the spotlight. By the way, Dina and Caroline are not only sisters but they are married to brothers. Dina never sees her husband because he works at the Brownstone where she works as an event planner along with her brother-in-law, niece, nephew, and other relatives. The Brownstone in Paterson, New Jersey is a destination for weddings and other receptions. They have large rooms and can have four to five weddings at a time there. I disliked when Dina didn't offer a valet a tip for doing his job. It's not like valets are in it for the money. Then there is Danielle, the outsider and divorced mother of two, who also lives in Franklin Lakes with her young daughters. You can tell that there is friction between Danielle and Dina already. Danielle's friends with both Teresa and Jacqueline but Dina doesn't like her. maybe that's because they're both alike. We'll just have to watch and see.
