Bring Back... Star Trek

Warning: Spoilers
I was really surprised when I read that this would be the last episode in the series due to low ratings, this was both because I know their are super nerds who loved the show, and because Bring Back... The Goonies was planned, but it had to end some time I guess. Presented by Justin Lee Collins, his mission was to reunite all surviving members of the most famous science-fiction show on TV, in order to recreate his favourite scene, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) battling Gorn. He managed to find and interview George Takei (Hikaru Sulu), Grace Lee Whitney (Janice Rand), Bobby Clark (Gorn), Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov), Nichelle Nichols (Nyota Uhura), Eddie Paskey (Lieutenant Leslie) and Leonard Nimoy (Spock), he was unable to get William Shatner. None of the stars actually turned up to any real reunion, the final scene was created from their already recorded footage. Good!

Interesting

When I started becoming a Star Trek fan (or Trekkie), I've heard about the new Star Trek movie which is a re-imagining like what Casino Royale did to the James Bond franchise. I watched this just to give me an idea of the history of the Star Trek saga and I thought it helped, Bring Back Star Trek was funny as well as interesting. Justin lee Colins goes to the US to look for the surviving cast of the original series including Leonard Nemoy. I would give it 10 stars but only 9 because William Shatner wouldn't talk to Justin but he might get fed up of all the trekkers after him! It's worth a watch if it comes on TV again, not sure if it will because Bring Back Star Wars didn't and I wanted to watch that.
