When a teenager is found murdered wearing an ankle monitor after being buried alive, the CBI investigates the case. The victim is identified as Justin Prentiss, from the unconventional Bright Arch school, managed by the Principal Asher MacLean. Soon the CBI team learns that the school is for rebellious teenagers and the youths are submitted to punishment to indiscipline and meditation by the teachers. Patrick finds that the students are afraid of the legend of the lumberjack Zachariah, who lived in the spot centuries ago. Cho and Rigsby also find the grumpy neighbor Marshall Winston, whose house is vandalized by the teenagers. But Patrick once again plots a scheme to find the killer and to disclose dark secrets of the school.
"Blood Brothers" is another good episode of "The Mentalist". Once again, the cynical Patrick Jane and his naked truth steals the show. His lack of censorship or unembellished truth is one of the greatest attraction of this show. His dialog in the very beginning with Principal Asher MacLean and Chief Elaine Brody is highly entertaining. My vote is eight.
