Marie Lemaire, a rich widow and businesswoman has been poisoned in Biot, a town near Nice. In the night Marie Lemaire had dinner with the tradespeople of Biot. The deputy district attorney Elisabeth Richard and the gendarmerie captain Jouanic have to investigate all the people who were present in the dinner: his nephrew , who becomes heir of the business and his young wife Julie, the foodtruck owner, the baker, the former mistress of the husband of Marie, the garden designer Clémentine and also the restaurant owner.
