Too Long and Too Brief
mrjaybro2 February 2022
For a documentary, there was way too much that was repeated. The documentary could have been cut in half because of the repetitive things they discussed. Worth pursuing other sources if there are websites that discuss it, but not a lot was really shown (understandably), but for a documentary it was just lame and waste of time in my humble opinion.

Don't waste your time

Couldn't even make it past the first 10 minutes before I had to watch something else that was better planned and produced. It's bad enough that we had to hear the Orange Menace every day for over four horrible years. One bumbling sentence from the Orange National Embarrassment was enough to make me want to Elvis my TV.

Move Along, Nothing to See Here

'Peat & Repeat, "this is confidential high security. I can't show you or talk about it", 'peat & repeat. From very first scene, it's 'peat & repeat loop. So, just know you're not going to hear or see anything -- just keep moving & pass this by. I'd give it -10 stars if I could. And, that's being generous.

A documentary about a paint job
colin19112 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This pathetic attempt to make 10 minutes of stock footage into a 40 minute documentary is the saddest thing since "Ancient Aliens".

It culminates with the only information actually imparted: (spoiler alert) How Trump chose one of 4 paint jobs.

Synopsis
gregfreegrove23 January 2023
Beginning, Air Force One is described as a plane that the Presidents over the years have flown in. Then an orange lump of lard talks . Then more shots ofmthe plane but we don't hear much about the details except that former Presidents have used it. Then the lard again. And so on.

This is not a documentary that will offer any insightful detail about Air Force One unless like the lard you have two working brain cells. Obviously made at the height of the great orange lard's power he drones on about nothing in particular, the more shots of the plane.

And finally, an orange lump of lard chooses paint for the plane. The End.

Awesome New Air Force One
ntwmbxf6 February 2022
I really respected and appreciated that National Geographic didn't get political. They documented past and current presidents in a matter-of-fact way. They focused on the facts of plane, the new technology, the crew, the process of renovation, and the history of Air Force One. The improvements look impressive. I can't wait to see this bird in the air and the futuristic interior rooms completed! This was a breath of fresh air, compared to the hyper-political corporate media. I would love to see this as a mini-series to follow the progress, but understandably, a lot of details are confidential.

Couldn't get past 5 minutes
lavagirl66930 April 2023
Started watching this as normally National Geographic has great shows worth watching and I love anything about aviation and planes.

This show was not well done, poorly produced and the final blow was how many times they showed Trump in it.

It was not political in any way, but if it was about Air Force one, why waste time interviewing him. Focus on the plane.

I can't stand looking at him, hearing him and anything to do with him. So it was an instant turn off and I shut it down immediately.

The show should have followed the title and focused on "Air Force One" but it did not. Don't waste your time.
