This episode opens many centuries in the past; a 'dragon' is terrifying the people of a town so a knight is sent to slay it. Back in the present day an anomaly opens in a scrap yard and a creature emerges. The team from the ARC attempt to drive it back but as they do so the knight emerges from the anomaly. Now they have two problems; they must catch the 'dragon' (actually a harmless herbivore) and return the knight to his own time period; something that will be rather harder as he is convinced that he must be in Hell and the people he meets are all demons! Danny and Connor go after the knight while Abby and Becker try to catch the injured creature. Meanwhile Sarah decides to find out more about the knight by making an unsanctioned visit through the anomaly. Away from the action it emerges that Rex has been put up for auction on the internet; Connor is determined to get him back before Abby finds out what her brother did.
This episode was a lot of fun; there are no real antagonists; the dinosaur is fairly harmless and the knight is just confused about what is happening; that doesn't mean he isn't potentially dangerous though... almost all the ARC members are threatened by him at some point as well as some tough-looking bikers in a pub. There are plenty of great scenes; I especially liked the juxtaposition of the 'dragon' and the machines in the scrap yard. There are some decent laughs as the knight goes through modern London; slaying a motorbike and mistaking a biker for Satan (actually he was named Brian). The regular cast did a solid job and Tony Curran impressed as the knight. The subplot involving Rex might seem a little superfluous but it did show how Connor was keen to help Abby without her knowing she even needed his help. Overall this was a fun standalone episode.
