A group of assassins. Sawa Yukimura, the coldest one, is not well seen from the others, but she does not care. The new mission? Killing someone, of course. In particular a smuggler. Will it be everything fine?
Sawa had his entire family murdered and is now seeking revenge. For this she becomes an executor of the Nue, the elite army of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Her mission is to protect the treasurer, who keeps a lot of information in her head.
The treasurer's death was necessary for the continuity of the group. While Sawa has to deal with the situation of his "little sister", the Nue receive information that the "cleaner" is associated with Janome
Asahi was kidnapped by Tsukishiro, who betrayed the group, at Janome's behest. Sawa's only alternative is to set out to seek revenge and save the girl. But Jin appears on his way to stop her.
Sawa and Asahi starts enjoying peaceful times on the mountain. Tsukishiro finds something startling on her search for the treasurer's treasure. Peace might not last for very long.
Sawa is more conflicted than ever with the recent turn of events. She ponders whether to seek revenge or to live quietly with a her new family. In the meantime the citizens rebel against the Shogunate.
