This is one of the two featurettes on the DVD of Changeling from 2009, and with a running time of 13 and a half minutes, it is the longer of them. It consists of behind the scenes material, interviews and a few clips of the film, stills and archival footage from the time its set and such. This is a making-of production, and they talk about Eastwood's directing style, how much they enjoyed working with him(yup, we get the usual unrestrained love-fest), the costumes, location scouting, the fun of doing a period piece and a little about how the cast was assembled. Even the kids are interesting to listen to, and "get it", understand why things are the way they are in the movie, which I found quite surprising. This is well-edited and keeps to a nice pace throughout, never getting boring or going too fast. It's informative and genuinely feels like it's not merely trying to lure you to watch the picture itself, but also intends to enlighten you on aspects of it. And it succeeds in doing so. This documentary doesn't spoil anything, and there is no offensive material in it. I recommend this to anyone who liked the flick, and/or intends to find out more about it. 7/10
