Chuck does it again.

Warning: Spoilers
Chuck has had a mixed reception since the show first aired in 2007. Since then it has improved in many ways and Chuck Versus The First Kill is the best episode so far.

Chuck needs help finding his father, and so he turns to Jill for help. His handlers (wary of Jill) know that they need her assistance. As she is an insider of Fulcrum, and their best chance.

The team are led to a secret Fulcrum recruiting facility, in search of Chuck's father. Chuck and Casey go in as Fulcrum trainees, but their ruse is rendered useless as Fulcrum discover their ploy. Sarah and Jill must go into the Fulcrum facility and rescue Chuck before its too late.

The best Chuck so far 10/10

What I really like about the duality of spy and retail in Chuck is how the stories align. In this case it's about betrayal and knowing who you can trust.

The added touch is usually the trivial question Morgan asks chuck that has the same meaning as chucks current large dilemma.

Another great episode.

This is my second viewing of Chuck

Warning: Spoilers
I have watched every episode of the 1st season and plowing through 2nd season. I like to rate episodes so I can go back and check whether I've seen an episode...and if it comes on in reruns, should I even watch it again. I want to remember if its enjoyable. 7's and above are fine. Below 7...probably wouldn't rewatch. And above 7's, much more enjoyable.

I am having a hard time ranking any episodes of Chuck. I pretty much give them all a 7. None of them are GREAT. None of them are terrible. (Maybe later on in the series??? I can't remember).

Usually shows stand out as being good or bad. Chuck is watchable. It's enjoyable. I would never give high expectations to anyone who hasn't seen it. It isn't great tv. I think it is sort of like Burn Notice. I remember that show being...fine. I finally gave up on Burn Notice...but that was way before streaming and DVR's etc. I THINK Chuck is a little better than Burn Notice... but both pretty much in the same arena. Burn Notice a little darker. Chuck a little lighter. Definitely more laughs in Chuck...though I remember Bruce Campbell being the comic relief in Burn Notice.

The actor playing Chuck does a fine job. No real complaints. Yvonne Straho and Adam Baldwin are fine. Not great, but better than decent. They are more than acceptable.

I'd say my 2nd biggest complaint overall is the annoyance of the will they or won't they. I get that they have to dangle that out there forever...but it's just annoying.

Worst part of the show is whoever plays the general. Wow what an annoying person. I get the character, but the voice and speech pattern of the actress they got...ugh. Nails on a chalkboard. I do tend to fast forward those parts... along with some of the stupid B plots involving other Buy More employees and Chuck's sister and bro in law. I get that they need to be there. But I'm watching the show for the Chuck part of the show and his shenanigans. The other stuff isn't bad enough to keep me away. ..as long as they keep it to as bare a minimum as possible.

I do love all the guest stars. Some are utilized way better than others.
