Call from the future or New Year's miracle in Russian!
lyubitelfilmov5 December 2020
Romantic comedy. A domestic picture, which a friend advised me to look at, well, very persistently, so I decided to follow his advice - and I didn't regret it at all, and moreover, I am grateful to him. And how did such a cool New Year's comedy pass me by, considering that I watch Russian cinema? Everything happens in our unpredictable life, and here's my brief opinion - New Year's miracle in Russian. I was completely delighted with the picture, but as an experienced viewer, I am obliged to tell not only about the advantages of this comedy, but also about the shortcomings that are here. Therefore, pour some tea and sit back. So, the advantages: 1. Romantic story - the picture tells the story of the unexpected love between Andrey and Alena. Andrey, on New Year's Day, calls an unfamiliar number on the phone he bought just a few minutes ago, and dials up to Alena. After talking several times, they feel a connection between them, until a small problem is clarified - Andrei calls from 2009, and Alena lives in 2008. This urgently needs to be corrected, and the heroes launch a string of amazing events that should lead to a real meeting and genuine happiness. Agree - the seed is interesting, and the subsequent events are no less exciting. The romantic line is well written, and there are no obvious problems in the script. There are strong dramatic moments. Moreover, the viewer does not want to look for blunders and jambs in him, because the events in the picture rush with the speed of Santa Claus's magic team. The finale, I think, does not make sense to explain, because everything is on the surface. If you like good romance, and even in Russian decorations, then don't miss this picture! 2. Humor - maybe it was hypnosis, but I laughed at all the jokes here, (even dirty ones). Maybe it's in the magic of the picture, or in a good script, where there is not a single extra detail. Maybe the upcoming New Year mood is to blame (greetings from the coronavirus 2020, which should soon be replaced by 2021.) 3. Music - it is almost all domestic and New Year's. And, although I don't often listen to Russian music, here it was appropriate, and I even wanted to start dancing with the heroes! 4. New Year's atmosphere - tinsel, festive Moscow, crowds of people, smiles, undisguised joy, champagne - everything lives on in the coming New Year. The holiday atmosphere is literally in the air. My regards! 5. Heroes of the picture - all the heroes (except for the "stars") evoke sympathy and empathy. Everyone is remembered and their images are copied from our friends and acquaintances. So the disadvantages: 1. Steamy - if we soften it, or remove it at some moments, we get a picture for family viewing with the age limit "12+", since this picture is a New Year's tale about unexpected love, and nothing more. 2. "Stars" - except for Maria Aronova and Mark Bogatyrev, the rest were more annoying when watching. Some just flashed on the screen, while others were given entire scenes. Without them, the picture would be much better. Yes, here I am such a cynical and spiritualized brute, chill me for it! A little about the main characters: 1. Andrey, performed by Maxim Matveyev, is the head of a construction company, who returned to his homeland on New Year's Eve, who had no idea what awaited him after an ordinary phone call. Sincere, kind, honest and with a good sense of humor. Maxim coped quite well with the role, for the hero is attractive and memorable, although idealized, but this is a fairy tale! 2. Alena performed by Valeria Lanskoy - a violinist who was abandoned by a guy on New Year's Eve, but the wave of despair was turned away by an unexpected call from a stranger. A cheerful, courageous and kind girl who, in the course of history, shows all her best qualities. Valeria looked great here. Yes, and played well, smart girl! Despite the shortcomings, I will not greatly underestimate the final grade, because the director Yevgeny Bedarev, who was also responsible for the script, did a good job, and I managed to take a break from worries for the entire time. As a result, we have a good domestic romantic comedy, with a strong script, good humor, catchy characters, a great New Year's atmosphere and good acting! My rating is 7 out of 10 and my recommendation for viewing!
