Best of the three episodes, very entertaining.

Who killed Mary Kelly?

The killer has struck again, and DI Chandler has evidence which moves him closer to catching the killer.

Parts one and two I didn't quite enjoy as much as I thought, they were good, but not like I remember, this was, Part 3 was the standout, it was energetic, slick and very dramatic.

It was nice to see Joe get closer to his team, you definitely saw him start off as the quirky outsider, and soon become one of the lads.

The ending itself was perhaps a little bit of a letdown, but I'm sure was done to prove that even D.I's get it wrong sometimes.

Flawed, but very entertaining, 8/10.

Well Done; Ending Doesn't Quite Do It for Me

Warning: Spoilers
When Chandler is finally absorbed into the brotherhood, he starts to act like a real cop. Just to the chagrin of his superior. Who is an upwardly mobile ass. They begin to piece together the connections between their Ripper and the original. There is a cliffhanger conclusion, but the final result left me a bit cold--just too pat. I did like that the precinct finally began to function and the boss showed them his abilities. But I look forward to watching a few more episodes and a new case.

But what kind of cop would bear hug a man that emulates jack the ripper? Hmm maybe he might have a knife? And you bear hug him??? Except for the huge amount of cutaways a fairly entertaining series
