Lack of Continuity
claudio_carvalho6 January 2024
When two police officers shot a black teenager suspect, there are many manifestations in Wahington DC. Dr. Lightman and Dr. Foster are hired to find whether the officers' shoot was good or not. One of the police officers, Eric Kuransky, is an FBI agent indeed that is looking for terrorist cells in the police department, and Cal looks for the truth in his statements. Cal is also pressed by the FBI and the government to leave the case. Meanwhile, The Lightman's Group is audited to know who leaked the case of Joseph Hollin to the FEC. Torres is under pressure since Loker has revealed what he did to her, but she does not want to betrayal her friend.

"Undercover" is another good episode of "Lie to Me", with a serious mistake that affects the whole story. The black teenager Karl Dupree shoots the police officers on the stairway and dumps his backpack on the way. However, when the police officers are interviewed, none of them mention this event. I question why everybody forgot the first shoot and why the plot was changed. The second segment is predictable. My vote is eight.

HUGE PLOT HOLE
tacomaguy15 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So the kid that got shot at the beginning of the episode is determined not to have a gun and the one cop supposedly planted it on him. That doesn't make sense because we literally see him shoot at the 2 cops at the beginning of the episode, a bullet hole in the top of the stair column, and wood pieces from that column flying everywhere. After the episode was over, I went back to the beginning to watch it again just because it didn't make sense at the end. The other review on here said that the episode was complete nonsense. I didn't think it was that bad really until that glaring plot hole ended up having me question my sanity. Like how do you miss that when you edit the episode? That few seconds could have just been cut out or something. But this makes me question if he was originally supposed to have had a gun on him and they change the script in the middle of filming. Maybe they were afraid of angering a certain group and changed the story halfway. Who knows but I hope the rest of the show doesn't have any other glaring issues like this or I might have to stop watching.

Total nonsense episode
interestingstuff24 May 2022
If you are binge watching this show, just skip this episode. It's complete nonsense from first minute to the last and you won't even understand what's going on because the story is full of plot holes and continuity errors. They must have filmed this episode as a 90 minute episode, accidentally deleted half of it and aired it as a 45 minute episode because it's pretty much impossible to follow the story the way it was aired with so many parts and pieces missing.
