An usual finale.

The final episode is just weird, the dark overcast weather, the weird setting, Cook's dad, it all just feels off. Also we're asked to believe that Effy is just able to disappear for weeks with Cook. Are social services okay with that? She's still a child after all. Is she just not showing up to class anymore? Does anyone actually mind? I guess it's the holidays? Cook's dad is horrible as you'd expect, so there's no real shock or twist there, Cook's hair is at it's longest here and most unkempt. In fairness it was probably impossible to write an ending to this which pleased everyone, expectations had been raised so high.

Looking back the show is crazy, there's no actual studying, learning to drive, getting a part time job, going out with your family, all the actual stuff most teens do. This is a show with more crazy antics than any show out there really, and yet you know at the end they're all going to pass their exams somehow and go off to a bright future.

Cook and Effy Go Find Cook's Dad

Cook and Effy party like no tomorrow. They collapse on the streets and proceed to make out.

They reach a little town with boats and water. Cook goes to find his dad. The dad takes the two of them to a bar he frequents.

Effy walks alone and meets three town boys. One of them says if he had her he wouldn't let go of her, chain her to the bed. The boy tells Effy those kill you meaning the cigarette she is smoking. She says doesn't he smoke or drink? He doesn't they are the straight type. Cook comes and tells Effy they are going clubbing with him, her and his dad. Effy says no (influenced by the boy who lives a clean life I suppose?).

At the club Effy is the only one dancing. Cook and his dad sit on the side and check out Effy. His dad notes she has nice breasts, nice bottom. The dad says he would have sex with her. Cook gets tense and says he isn't letting go of her.

Cook's dad makes a deal with the bartender that whoever son wins the upcoming race will get what they stated in return.

The race is being prepared when Cook sees Freddie and JJ. All four boys participate. It is a granny race so the boys have to piggyback a granny around.

Effy puts two fingers in her mouth and slides them out. Cook's dad takes this as a sexual look. But Effy shows a middle finger.

JJ won the race. JJ takes the boys and Effy to another room. JJ makes it clear who likes who and wants to end their fighting. Effy looks at Freddie and Cook gets frustrated. The boys go after Cook and Effy + Freddie are alone.

Effy and Freddie kiss and proceed to sex.

The group gets Cook's dad's boat started and ride out as the bartender's group yells at them on land. Cook pushes his dad into the ocean.
