I was intrigued by this film because I love small indie films. I was shocked at how bad this movie is. I can't believe they were able to release it theatrically. I don't know where to start to tell you why it is so bad, but let me give you some highlights: first of all, why would the main female character, Carol, instantly fall in love for a guy who has zero charm? Well, the character she falls for, Paul, is played by Dario Gasbarro, who happens to be the writer/director, so I guess he has a very esteem of himself. The kissing scenes are absolutely unbearable to watch. The poor actress must have been in dire need of a part to accept kissing such an unsexy man. Then what follows is a series of dreadful scenes that make the film seem like it's 3 hours long, although the running time is approximately 80 minutes. The whole thing is unnecessarily too dramatic, and the characters are underdeveloped. The script is very conventional, with absolutely no depth, and feels like it was written 50 years ago. I mean, Paul invites the girl over to his place for dinner, and she does the cooking! Also, in the movie, Paul is a rock'n'roll singer. There is nothing wrong with that, but his two female bandmates have a Gothic look! And don't get me started on the amateur acting. Gasbarro must have cast his friends and family. Enough said. This is by far the worst movie of the year.
