- The final three teams travel from Beijing, China to Maui, Hawaii in a gruelling final leg that tests their endurance, their memory and the karma of one person. The first team to arrive at the finish wins the US$1 million prize.
- Eleven teams are down to the final three: mother and son Margie and Luke, cheerleaders Jaime and Cara and siblings Tammy and Victor. From Beijing at the Bird's Nest, the tenth pit stop Tammy and Victor leave first at 10:15 p.m. and are on their way to Maui. At the airport they learn they can't book until 6 a.m. Margie and Luke leave next, feeling like underdogs no more. Jaime and Cara take an event-free taxi ride to the airport. They all end up on the same flight. 18 Hours Later They deplane and grab taxis to head to a beach access road. There they have to prep a pig for a traditional Hawaiian luau by seasoning it. Then they have to carry the 145 pound pig 200 yards and prep it to be cooked. They have to be in swim suits and they change in the cabs.
Margie and Luke arrive last and the cheerleaders drop their pig in the sand. Tammy struggles and drops her pig in the sand several times. Margie and Luke gain ground walking down the shore, they pass both teams. Victor yells at Tammy and Jaime yells at Cara as they struggle under the weight of the pig. "Tammy keeps stopping, we are stronger than her!" Jamie yells. "This is how you lose a million dollars," she says as they drop their pig again in the sand. Margie and Luke prep theirs for cooking and finish first. Now they're going to a beach at McGregor Point. They take a Sea-doo one mile and search among 100 buoys for the clue. Tammy and Victor and the cheerleaders botch the pig cooking prep and have to redo it before they get their clue. At McGregor point Margie and Luke put on life preservers and swim out to to their Sea-doo. Margie drives. They start searching for buoy clues. Margie tells Luke to stop yelling at her as he backseat drives. They find the clue and head out. Tammy tells Victor to be careful and slow down as they race out. Margie and Luke read the clue, leading them to a surfboard fence on Hana Highway where they'll find their next clue.
Jaime and Cara find their clue and take off followed by Tammy and Victor.
Margie and Luke reach the clue box. Roadblock. They have to remember everything they've done on the race as they dig through surfboards with pictures from the stops on them. Then they have to assemble them in a fence in order. Luke feels confident as he starts. Margie says he's been reviewing where they've been as he puts up his third board in the correct spot. Jaime and Cara's cab driver takes them to the wrong place and Tammy and Victor get stuck behind a slow car as Luke speeds along finding surf boards. When his shorts get in his way, he takes them off and finishes in his swim suit. Jaime marvels again at the fact that they keep getting lousy cab drivers. When he calls for directions the dispatcher tells him to tell his passengers that she is not their personal concierge. Perhaps she has been watching Jaime all season. Jamie calls the police and gets directions easily. And then the cab driver says he needs to stop and get gas. Tammy and Victor finally arrive behind their slow moving car while Luke has three boards to go. Tammy and Margie hug hello and commiserate over the heavy pigs.
Victor starts digging through his surfboard pile and resorts to stripping to his Speedo for ease of movement. Margie and Tammy cheer their guys on. Jamie and Cara urge their driver to get gas as fast as he can.
Luke has all but the final two boards as Victor gains ground. Jaime and Cara finally pull up and Jaime starts in. Luke struggles to find the final two boards. Jaime thinks the symbols make no sense at all. As Jaime gets frustrated, Cara tells her she's doing great, just don't get frustrated. Victor has five of 11 boards as Luke tries in vain to find the final two. Victor only has two remaining as Luke wants to quit. He moves one into the right place as Jaime has caught all the way up to only have two left as well. Victor finishes. They get the clue leading them to a golf club and the finish line. Jaime and Luke help each other and both finally finish. The cheerleaders leave first.
In the cab Luke is upset and his mom tells him to think positive. Jaime gets choked up that she couldn't remember the first stop. Their partners tell both of them to be proud. Tammy and Victor get excited on the drive there as they can nearly taste it. The eliminated teams are all there, cheering them on as they reach the finish line on a putting green. Tammy and Victor win $1 million.
Victor is stunned that they won. "Victor has just pushed me my whole life and in this race and I'm just so thankful to him," Tammy says. She thinks from leg three on they tried really hard to listen to each other.
Jaime and Cara arrive next. Jaime starts crying because she's upset she couldn't get the final clue. Cara says it's OK because it's a team game "This race was the most wild, unexpected and enriching experience as I think I'll probably ever have in my life," Cara says. In the cab, Margie tells Luke the experience was worth more than $1 million. They arrive third and hug everybody else. Phil calls Margie the "Bionic Woman." Luke says a lot of deaf people's parents don't sign and he's very lucky to have his mom. He proud to be the first deaf competitor on the show. Victor think he took an opportunity to do the "crazy, unexpected and completely unconventional."
