I felt that man number one was too harsh to woman number one. I did not fully understand what was going on but I did notice some gunfire, honestly not too impressed with these second rate performances. Unfortunately from the five minutes I have watched. I am going to give this film a 2/10 stars. Kinda cringe. Pretty mid tbh. The rollercoaster of emotions that made me feel sick to my stomach more than the cold oatmeal I have every morning. Cinnamon and sugar is the best one but I ran out yesterday. Which reminds me, I need to go to the CVS to buy fruity pebbles. How I could forget such a crucial meal. Well that's a mystery I'll have to solve soon. Call me Fred, no Flinstone. Let me call up my dog, no scooby doo.

Watched a section for class

To be completely honest, the acting was not great. You could tell that they were trying to act and the costuming was subpar as well. I totally get that as a cop you would be justifiably upset if your girlfriend turned out to be a vigalante; and as a person the frustration felt when someone is not who they said they were to begin with. However; this goes against almost every cop and hero show or movie to ever exist; typically because the hero is helping the town by taking down the "bad guys" they can come to an understanding. This movie- or at least the portion I watched- threw that out that aspect which I typically love.

Honestly I do feel it was a decent movie clip for a start up production company. The acting was a little iffy at times but overall the actor and actress held my interest and got their emotions across well. The actor and actress seemed passionate about their role. Regardless of how much experience they have in the acting world, the emotion and confidence they had shined through. I feel that the guy did have a right to be upset with the girl, however I do see both sides. Overall, after watching this clip I was intrigued. I am confident that if I watched this full movie It would likely hold my attention.

The film was an interesting film. I feel like they were trying to get a specific point across like a lesson or message across but with the acting it didnt feel real because you could tell it was fake. I do not really have a complete understanding what the short film was about but i am also barely awake right now so I guess that makes sense. The only thing I got from this is that the man did seem really hurt and betrayed by the women character because she never told him who she was and what she did effected his own career but he also seemed like he was getting to know and care for this person but feels likes he doesnt even know her.

I think that the perspective of this being not only a love triangle but a cop vs vigilante storyline.

I appreciate the anger from both sides that is both for justified reasons. This makes the storyline split and more interesting.

I agree with Zach vs Kenady because he is just trying to solve his case without emotional and literal interference. She knew too much about said case to not be involved and this probably left him wondering if she was really worth her time. I feel for him in the draining situation and his closeness to the case.

Recommended watching the full movie to understand better, good watch and interesting indie film.

I thought this was an interesting section that showed a cop being betrayed by the women he loves. Not only is she not who she says she is but has a haunting past that finally catches up to her. Within the short clip watched, the cast that is portraying the characters seem to have great potential in representing how fast things can go from zero to sixty. I believe from the short clip watched that this movie has great potential. In the end, sometimes obstacles that are interacted within the world are almost always not what they seem to be. Which is why it is important to always to take a moment and step back with everything in life to make an accurate assumption.

Good plot bad acting

The plot seemed very interesting, but the acting made me loss interest in the film. I get bored whenever the acting is not that good. The script and the film didn't match well, and I don't think the actors really had chemistry. I was a little confused with the scene we watched probably because I didn't see the first one. I think it does portray black culture this day and how it feels to be betrayed. I think he acted how all humans would react when they find out they are betrayed. I definitely think if the acting was better and the script was better I would probably watch the rest of this movie.

I thought the plot line was promising, but could have been executed a lot better through more believable acting and better film quality. I think the storyline was there, but could have been more interesting if it had a better script. I know that we did not watch the entire movie I class, so I cannot give a full, descriptive review, but I thought that the music that was going on in the background made it a bit difficult at times to hear what some of the actors were saying. I think that the film had opportunities to go a lot deeper at times, but did not take the chance to do so. I think it did address some good topics though.

I think that from what I saw of the movie it wasn't bad. I don't think this would be a movie want to watch but I do feel like the movie would be even better if given better film materials. I only saw about 3 minutes of the movie so I can't make a judgement based off of what I saw. I think the acting was ok and the sound was ok. I also don't feel it's my place to review a movie I haven't completely seen or heard of until now. I also don't know anything about the movie which also seems like an unfair review. Since I have to leave one I think the movie was ok just not for me. I only saw clips but watching the whole thing I feel I could make a better judgment.

This was Amazing!!!!

I was so pleasantly surprised!

I LOVED this movie. It has Action and its very funny! I had no idea that it was a faith based movie until the very end. The characters kept it too real and the soundtrack was awesome. I give it 10 stars!

I only saw a clip of the movie, I didn't like the way the scenes looked but the acting wasn't as bad as I expected. You can really feel the anger and confusion through the characters, and the suspense through the scenes as well. I thought the casting was adequate and the locations themselves fit the scenes, I just didn't like the way the scenes looked, it made it look unprofessional. All in all it was a good couple of scenes, I would need to see more scenes or the rest of the movie to give it a proper evaluation. I recommended you give the movie a chance before saying it's bad, pay attention to the plot and acting and you'll see it's not bad.

The movie concept has potential, but the acting was poor. The directing and quality of the movie was lacking professionalism. The movie definitely should be reviewed and try to emphasize the difference in culture in a different way. I think that the communication examples were not great examples, there could have been better ways to demonstrate intercultural communications. Code-switching as well, I think the movie overall was ineffective and did not deliver the message. The choice of demonstrating a white man and black man were stereotypical, I think that the director could have taken more time to be more creative with the dialogue.

Good storyline and message

The movie had a good story line and message. Actors were passionate but have room for improvement. It was overall a very interesting movie. I agree with the cop because I think he was justified in his actions. After only watching a short clip I wish I had more information about the movie to make a more clear review. However, she was a murderer so she deserved to go to jail and he should have arrested her on the spot. When she showed up at the door he should have not given her the time of day and immediately arrested her. He could not love her anymore because of her betrayal and lying to him...

Noxious 2 Review on Characters Communication

The movie's dialogue was interesting. There was a wild range of dialogue displayed along with some interesting characters being presented during the duration of the scene. None of the characters really called out to me. If they were written and with more background and content then the storyline would have made more sense. The opening scene was all over the place like it started with a possible shot out? A man laying on the group 2 other women kneeling, 3 cops with their guns drawn and a young women with a gun getting into a car. The officers turning their guns on each other in the middle of a public thing is confusing as that is not professional nor is there any grounds for it.

acting showed no emotion

From what I saw, the storyline had potential but it seemed like the acting was just uninvolved. The main actress seemed extremely detached from the role, and showed basically no emotion, which didn't match with her lines. In theory she was supposed to be pouring her heart out and confessing her love, but it seemed more like she was reading her lines directly off her script, extremely monotoned. It took away from the performance of the main actor, who did better and really showed emotion. In the short clip that we watched, it was obviously difficult to tell what was going on in the plot, but I was able to roughly figure out what was going on.

I think that the movie had very cringe acting and was not able to fully capture my attention because of that. The story line was somewhat interesting because of the relationship between Zach and the vigilante woman. I believe that Zach was justified to be upset with her because she completely betrayed him and went behind his back. Some may say he was a bit harsh to slam the door in her face, however I saw it was deserved. She was trying to appeal to pathos and make him feel bad for her. However Zach was not falling for her trap. Overall, she is a murderer and criminal therefore I disagree with her.

I only watched about three minutes of this movie and what I can say about the movie is that I feel the detective was in the right. The women was expecting a lot from the detective, she was expecting him to understand her and he couldn't. I would watch the whole movie just to see how it ends. The director did a great job on making this movie and finding good actors for the movie. The script is good as well. I would love to see the rest of the movie and actually sit down and study it for what it is. I would also love to watch the first noxious and see the whole story line. I am excited to see how the movies turn out.

Good acting, but predictable.

I'd like to preface that I only watched a short 3 minute clip of the film, however from what I did see the plot seemed a bit predictable and cliché. From what I picked up it was the standard, "I love you but you don't know my past so I am scared to open up to you" story. I did however find the acting to be good, particularly that of the male police officers who seemed genuine and really brought me into the story. In the opening scene of the clip I was shown, three men are holding each other at gunpoint, however the scene seemed a bit rushed and thus didn't have the same emotional impact I feel it was meant to. This is why I'm giving the film (the 3 minutes of it I watched) 4/10.

The acting was sorta bad and I think it was an ok plot. I could not get intrigued by the movie and ended up not making it all the way through. I would not recommend it, It is pretty boring and being a vigilante is really boring, she didn't even have a cool suit. It was just cheesy and I really wasn't into it that much. She was a murderer before and basically just turned into a "justified" murderer. She tried to justify her actions by doing them for good by even for "good" they are not justified and it is still against the law which doesn't make her any better of a person. She deserved to get dumped and left.

A Must See!

Intense

I only watched a couple scenes in class but from what I saw this seems like a very intense review. The acting was very professional and transitions between scenes was smooth. However, I don't really know what is happening from those two scenes.

From the two scenes I feel bad for the girl because she didn't deserve to be treated like that from the guy at all. If I was her I would've done the same thing with the guy and made sure anything between us was ended.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes intensity and lots of action.

Overall, I enjoyed these two clips and I was engaged but I didn't really understand what the movie was about just from those two clips.

Rue deserved the reaction she got

I think the main guy in this movie was justified by his actions and words to the girl Rue that he met. She said she loved him, but put him in jeopardy of his job and even his relationship with his coworkers. People who love you try to do what is best for you, even if it hurts. I think it was great that she wanted to turn her life around, but she went about it in a dishonest way... maybe if she was honest there would be a different ending. I think because she has a criminal mindset, she was not really able to be honest, and almost tried to justify herself and make things okay by saying she loved the police guy. This is unfair and devious... not deserving of his love.

Didn't hold my attention

From what I watched of this movie it had an interesting storyline although it's not a movie I would personally watch on my own time. It wasn't the best acting and didn't hold my attention for long at all. It has a good message and plot line. Seems like a predictable movie and might be more interesting if the acting was better and had a better way to hold your attention. I only watched a short clip of this movie so I can't speak on all of the movie and acting but from what I saw I wouldn't take the time to continue watching it. Debating on what he should have done in the situation is hard but I believe she should go to jail based on her actions.

Home-made disaster

The acting. The plot line. The cold comedy. I don't think this movie will ever be on my watchlist or recommendations. It is very much homemade, a film with a mediocre plot line and even worse acting. Budgeting was pretty tight I can imagine and for that, I gave 3 stars. The $300 invested in this movie production was well distributed looking at the actors being well fed and the vehicles used having gas. The actors were less than OK. The acting was like China Ann Mclain sister's dog coached the actors for their performance. I physically cannot imagine sitting down and enjoying this film. F for effort. Rather this has not been made, to be honest.
