- Devastated and furious, Aurora approaches Jim in bed, starts hitting and kicking him, and grabs a metal object with a sharp end readying to attack him with it.

- Gus' death could be a huge shock to children and the movie's ending, with both characters being in peril and with one nearly dying, may be distressing to some viewers.
- The scene when Aurora hit Jim when he was sleeping is very intense and sad.
