"Inon" or "The Conquest of Fire: Algonquin Legend" is a 9.5-minute animated short movie by French filmmaker Frédéric Back, a film he made relatively early in his career when he had not yet won any of his 2 Oscars. It is one of his films that actually requires subtitles if you want to perfectly understand the entire thing as there is quite a bit of French dialogue in here, unless, of course, you are fluent in French. This one is about animals and their special connection to fire. I personally did not enjoy the watch a whole lot, but this has mostly to do with me not liking Back's style of animation in here and that hurt my overall perception of the film quite a bit. If you like it more, then you may very well enjoy it. I still give it a thumbs-down.
