Starts out strong!

Warning: Spoilers
The Plague starts out strong! There is a ground zero. A military lab, with the spreaders escape. There is the lies, military/political propaganda as panic spreads. There is the development of characters from Texas, New York etc. The Plague starts, and the countdown to destructions un folds. The Plague a typical lower budget made for movie, but what was watchable. Many B list actors perform well. The director creates a pace, and keeps the viewers interest. What make the Plague interesting is the story. Another interesting story line, for a Stephen King book. The Plague shows you do not need a great budget if there is a strong script. The Plague delivers. 7 stars.

The first episode of this mini-series isn't as amazing as it could be. By that does not mean it is bad! You can tell the budget is low, some acting is bad, the quality is low, etc.. But there are some amazing actors in this too. Gary Sinise is great as Stu Redman, Ed Harris was great (and surprisingly uncredited?) Overall I think the casting was great and it is very accurate to the book which I am nearly done reading. Some cuts from this episode include Fran and her mom and parts with Jess. But it's not too important so that's totally fine. I still loved this episode!

It's shocking how Stephen King placed the Deadly Flu like symptoms in his Movie! & With Covid-19 hitting today it's like Stephen was shown that prodiction of what was about to become in our own future!! With what took place in this Movie unravels & of course to different events! I bought this movie! But i seen a remake was made! I'm not sure how the remake will be. I grew up watching the actors & actresses in this 1! But what I love about this Movie it gives a twist to a journey of not knowing what to come in the parts of these actors & actresses plays! To me many more events leaves you guessing how it will end!! So I'm hoping the remake will be as good not sure if it will be better. I will have to see it to say if it will be good!!

Warning: Spoilers
A very funny line in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and the musical version, "Monty Python's Spamalot", it's very serious here as spoken by Kareem Abdul Jabar as a Times Square prophet, running up to people at random and seemingly knowing their name and screaming it at them. This first of four parts to the TV version of the Stephen King miniseries is quite powerful, giving Gary Sinese, Adam Store and an all-star cast a very powerful storyline only 26 years before the real life variation of this, maybe not as dramatic what happened here, but certainly very parallel to what would happen when the real world had to shut down even for a limited time to make it through this wilderness.

It all starts when a laboratory employee realizing what's going on goes on the run with his wife and child, and dying in front of a group of men in a small town, seemingly of the flu which is much more serious than your average seasonal severe cold. Ruby Dee (as a sweet voiced 106-year-old woman), Kathy Bates (rebellious radio talk show host), Molly Ringwald and other great actors truly seem to be filled with a sense of what could be, and the audience is immediately drawn in to the drama. It's more science fiction than horror although it is definitely horrific. A great way to get started on a 6 plus hour journey that would be intense in any era, and featuring many unforgettable moments that shouldn't be described in a review, just experienced.
