Cheap copy of Lassie and Dog's life

The reason I gave 5 stars out of 10 is this movie is a great advert for dog shelters here in Czech republic.

But other than that, characters are archetypical, shallow. Naration is good, but a bit infantile.

Color correcion in this movie is strange, there are plenty of coloured bars over the movie, a bit saturated frames. But maybe a technical difficulties during a playback, it looked like a bad color space used.

But anyway, I don't recommend that movie, it's not even sad, there are a few times you think something will happen and almost happens and it won't (no spoilers).

Touching family movie

This film opens up eyes of all generations and shows them many different sides of dogs life. The film also wants to show that dogs have strong feelings and connections with humans, dog is not a thing but a being full of feelings, emotions and love. I would strongly recommend it not just dog lovers...

The story is told mainly from the point of view of a dog hero. According to the behavior of dogs, their feelings can not be so far from how "thinks Gump" in the movie. Surely there is clearly no animal in the world that is more devoted to man than a dog. Although people often treat them in all sorts of ways. Through Gump, various problems associated with dog breeding are revealed. The film truly shows the illegal breeding or cruelty of animals. It is Gump in the story that largely reflects the positive and negative qualities of the human race. And often it's a pretty sad sight. Both children and adults will enjoy this film - it is touching, with a nice camera. You will probably cry, but you will have a nice experience and you may fall in love with Gump. :-)

Smart film about a dog's journey

You can tell the film director loves dogs and he's done justice to the canine. The film has some twists and tear jerking moments. Many dogs were part of the filming and all of them had stories as dramatic as the the storyline - as they were all rescue dogs.

Yhe film tells the story of one Jack Russell Cross breed who treks the Czech Republic as a stray trying yo find a human to call his.

The adventure maps his efforts to find his adopted owner adter they are cruelly separated.

It's amusing how the dog, called Gump after movie Forrest Gump, names people by the scent of their hands.

Expect subtitles from. Czech audio.

Grittier than a Disney movie but fun for all the family. However some scenes might be upsetting for small children.

good family show about dogs from their perspective

Very good movie which are very hard to find these days. Nice to see some homeless peoples care too. We see a few bad ones too. I found this movie by accident and made for a very nice Saturday evening. I hope to see more movies like this.

We adopted a shelter dog this year and think she was rescued from a puppy mill too. You can tell because of her hesitations i see sometimes in her responses.

Sometimes things just go right and that needs to.told in movies too, it is not all bad.

Thanks for this movie and i hope the director makes more like this.

I agree the dogs pick us so that was nice.

The sotry was verry sad. But true. I love dogs.

It is a film drawing attention to the issue of breeding, unwilling dogs and so on. And I like that the most. Quite an emotional story. I think it's better than a book.

It is very well shown there that love cannot be stolen. Perfect skills of actors. And those puppies are cute.
