Randomocity was shot in less than one month during the hottest days of the year. The cast was constantly undressing and redressing on set in-between takes for fear of heat exhaustion.
Actor Cliff Hite, featured in the roll of "Frank", was running for Ohio government during the time of filming for Randomocity. He won soon thereafter and is reportedly heavily involved in promoting filming in the state of Ohio.
Randomocity won the Best First Feature Film Award at the International Film Festival of England for The United States and director Tyler Lee Allen.
