Sex & Nudity

- Female nudity is displayed when a woman exposes her bare breasts to a man & asks to be sexually penetrated by him. This scene of nudity is shown again in flashbacks.
- A young boy grabs his mother's breast & yells at her for not breastfeeding him.
- Full frontal female nudity is displayed of a woman covered in blood. When this woman begins to walk, full female back & buttocks nudity is also shown.
Violence & Gore

- Demonic possession causes disturbing, sometimes gory deformities on people's faces and bodies throughout the film.
- A pig on a leash is possessed by an evil spirit and starts screeching, leading it to getting shot directly in the head by a priests's assistant wielding a rifle. It's very graphic as there is blood splattered by the pig after receiving a gunshot .
- Demon hurts others physically and mentally many times in extreme acts of cruelty.
- Some disturbing, bloody and gory flashbacks.
Profanity

- There is some swearing. Even by the priest.
- Many uses of "f**k" and its derivatives. Mostly used by the demons in their efforts to demoralize the priests and family through disgusting language.

- Amorth carries and every now and again drinks whiskey from a hip flask.
- A teenage woman is briefly seen smoking a cigarette, before being asked to put it out by her mother.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The sequences of exorcism involve quite a bit of otherworldly demonic body horror in which people's bodies become contorted and deformed. The imagery in these scenes will likely be disturbing to the squeamish.

- A possessed boy bites a portion of a priest's ear off.
- A young woman jumps off a building to her death. The bloody aftermath is shown on the ground afterward.
- Amorth tries to commit suicide by hanging to kill the demon that's possessed him.
