President John F. Kennedy‘s tendency toward extramarital romances has been well-documented in the decades since his assassination – but did one of his relationships play a direct role in his untimely death?

It. Is. On. One scene in this week's Doctor Foster is destined to get people talking. Spoilers ahead…
This review contains spoilers.

In the final moments of Doctor Foster series one, as Simon and a heavily pregnant Kate drove away from Parminster town square, Gemma glanced over at the gaming magazine Tom was reading and saw he was looking at a female character leaning provocatively over a car bonnet in a bikini. Nothing further was said, but it planted a seed in her and our minds about Tom’s developing attitudes to relationships and sex. How would his dad’s affair affect the man Tom would become?
“Sons are their fathers” Jack said that same series of Simon’s philandering. Thinking of Tom, Gemma had replied thoughtfully, “I hope not”.

Jack & Jack singer Jack Johnson minces no words about singer Madison Beer while talking about a leaked recording of her ex and his duo partner Jack Gilinsky insulting her. Meanwhile, she is speaking out again about the alleged abuse. Earlier this month, a recording of Gilinsky calling then-girlfriend Beer a "f--king slut" was posted online. Gilinsky then confirmed the recording was authentic and recorded last year and apologized for his words. On Saturday, Johnson released a YouTube video titled "The Truth," which went viral. In the edited footage, he says he would never "justify anything Jack said" in the audio but...

If he was still alive, John F. Kennedy would turn 100 years old on May 29 — and although his grandchildren never met the former president, who was assassinated in 1963 at age 46, his ideals continue to impact the nation and their own lives.

He’s named after one of the most mythic figures in American politics, but John “Jack” Kennedy Schlossberg has kept a relatively low profile over the years. Was that the finale you had in mind for such a brilliant freshman season?
It's not easy to say, but This Is Us Season 1 Episode 18 failed to deliver on its promises. There were no tears, not a lot of emotion and the bottle episode focusing on a failing relationship wasn't nearly as effective as it should have been.
I'm not left wondering what's next for Jack and Rebecca, but why I don't really care.
Theirs is supposed to be a love affair for the ages, and I believe Jack thinks that it is. He feels a lot of love for Rebecca and his family.
By witnessing everything that happened to the couple just prior to their meeting, why he fell so hard for her makes more sense than ever before. She was not only beautiful and talented (and whatever else he discovered soon after meeting her), but she quite literally...

You're all still clinging to the edge of your seats, right?
The drama continued on The Night Of Season 1 Episode 2 with very little fanfare. That's what is making this series so credible. So many times, when we are privy to a character being hauled in, held and later arrested, it's sort of glossed over. Not this time.
I can only assume at this point of the series Naz is running on sleeplessness and adrenaline, because he has yet to crack. Surely that's coming.
The many different angles from which we're seeing this investigation are fascinating. While what we see of Naz and what affects him is certainly the most disturbing at this moment, Jack finds himself in a different place than he normally operates, and we can feel how he sees himself and how others see him as a result.

Bringing together multiple components of genre filmmaking, the British feature Jack Falls found a recipe for success by winning best action film at the 2011 London Independent Film Festival.
It's the final part of a trilogy, each based on a graphic novel written by director Paul Tanter and illustrated by Oscar Alvarado.
More details, plus reaction from the filmmakers and a trailer for Jack Falls, are included below.
Tanter, who attended the festival, said: "I'm thrilled to accept this award from the Liff. The competition within independent film has never been better, and we are honoured to have not only been included amongst those selected, but to have won the award too."
All three films are shot in a Sin City style - using splashes of colour against high-contrast black and white - with comic book undertones that reflect the trilogy's origins.

The final chapter in Paul Tanter’s Jack trilogy is an effective thriller rooted in, but not burdened by, the gritty London gangster genre and completes the story of Jack Adleth in a compelling fashion.
As this is the endgame the film is stripped down to its essentials; the momentum of the film carries everything and everyone to their inevitable end with a sense of urgency. The high contrast black and white, previously used in the flashback sequences of the preceding films, is a bold move, with colour used sparingly and it’s more than a superficial choice – this film is about good and evil, with very little in between. There is duplicity here but for the most part once Jack decides that an end is needed the whole film shakes off the extraneous elements prevalent in many films of this sort.

Jack Falls is the third film in a trilogy, which releases March 21st in the United Kingdom. Recently, author and co-director Paul Tanter scripted a short animation for this feature. The animation is a unique accompianment to the film and the short clip shows central character Jack bereaved over the loss of his "police colleague, Sid" (Jack). The full clip is inside.
There is still no word as to when Jack Falls will be available in North America. However, the original film, Jack Says, released in this territory; so, there is hope. More details on this project are below.
The synopsis for the black and white animation is here:
"The short shows why Jack carries the guilt of the death of his former undercover police colleague Sid, played by Neil Maskell (Bonded by Blood).

We’re very happy to bring you the first look at the DVD artwork for a film we’ve been looking forward to for a while: writer/director Paul Tanter’s Jack Falls.
This is the third chapter in the Jack series, preceded by Jack Says and Jack Said, which ended with a particularly nice cliffhanger and it’ll be very interesting to see how things work out.
The films are adapted from Tanter’s comic book trilogy, and as with the previous two films there are some very impressive names in the cast including Simon Phillips, Tamer Hassan, Olivia Hallinan, Dexter Fletcher, Alan Ford, Adam Deacon, Annie Cooper and Martin Kemp.
Also starring are Jason Flemying, Neil Maskell and Doug Bradley and we’ve also been told to look out for a cameo from Gremlins star Zach Galligan.

Directors Paul Tanter and Alexander Williams' British noir thriller Jack Falls gets a moody new poster...
"Anyone who wears two masks for so long forgets who they really are," intones the distinctive and gravelly voice of character actor Alan Ford in British directors Paul Tanter and Alexander Williams' noir crime thriller, and very slick it looks too.
The third and final instalment in a trilogy of films that began with Jack Said and Jack Says, Jack Falls employs a black-and-white look along the lines of Sin City, with occasional splashes of colour providing a startling counterpoint to its stark monochrome palette.
Simon Phillips stars as Jack Adleth, an undercover officer whose investigations into London's criminal underworld have turned him into, in Ford's words, "One of the most dangerous, ruthless individuals I've ever met."

Last week we bought you the exclusive look at the character posters for the third film in the ‘Jack’ series, Jack Falls, written by Paul Tanter.
Today we’ve got a look at the final poster for this film, and it’s in keeping with the graphic style seen in the posters thus far but also in the great trailer we posted recently.
There’s still another few months until we get to see this one on the big screen, and as with the previous two installments, Jack Says and Jack Said, the final chapter in story looks to be an exciting and stylish one, with Simon Phillips and Tamer Hassan (whose London based post apocalypse thriller The Last Seven is out at the end of the month) heading the cast.

While I confess to not having seen the previous two films in the trilogy concluded by Paul Tanter's Jack Falls I certainly like what I'm seeing in the trailer for this one. Stylish photography, a gritty noir tone, a hard edged anti-hero, believable action and a few familiar faces, like Jason Flemyng. Here's the official word:
Returning to complete the first ever seperately made for film release trilogy of British films, comes Jack Falls, the film noir follow up to Jack Said and Jack Says and final installment in Jack's downward journey. Surviving a murder attempt in Amsterdam, former undercover police officer Jack Adleth returns to London to seek revenge and settle some old scores, but he soon finds himself in danger not just from his former criminal associates, but his old police colleagues too. As he battles to stay alive, he must also deal with the guilt from the consequences of his undercover life.

Jack Falls is the third film in the comic book series written by Paul Tanter, and the new trailer for the film adaptation, which stars Simon Phillips, Tamer Hassan, Dexter Fletcher, Adam Deacon, Martin Kemp, and Olivia Hallinan, looks pretty impressive.
Following the continuing downward spiral of an undercover cop Jack Falls is set to pick up where the last chapter ended up, and the London noir styling of the previous films looks just as good in these trailers below.
We spoke to Paul following the wrap on the previous film in the series Jack Said and he talked about the next chapter in the series, and soon we’ll get the chance to see how far the writer/director will push his main character.

Director: Bob Phillips.
Writers: Paul Tanter, and Paula Baker.
Jack Says is a Kalimasu and Lucky Strike co-production, which was released in 2008. Shot partially in London, Jack Says has already spawned two sequels and this crime noir thriller offers some interesting interactions, but little in the way of thrills. Currently being distributed by Your Indie Films in North America, Jack Says is worth a mention, especially some of the camera techniques, but the film is not completely satisfying.
The film begins with Jack (Simon Phillips) tied to a chair while being flambéed by the Guv'Nor (Mike Reid) with questionable metaphors. Several minutes later Jack wakes up with no memory of previous events and a bloody head wound. Much of the film from here on in follows Jack as he tries to restore his memories with an address and a Polaroid picture of naked breasts. Instead, Jack finds an ex-girlfriend and...

(S04E01) "We'll trick those race-car loving wide-loads into watching your lefty homoerotic propaganda hour yet!" - Jack
One of the many, many reasons 30 Rock is one of my favorite shows is because it's well aware of its own world. For example, one of the running jokes tonight was about Josh (Lonny Ross). I spent most of the last two seasons wondering where Josh was. He'd make a cameo here and there, but he's been pretty much missing since the first season. Liz and Jack talked about this tonight when Jack revealed that Tgs needed a new cast member and Liz wondered about Josh's popularity on the show. Jack said "Oh, that's right, Josh. I forgot about that guy. You think that's a good sign?"
For the record, Josh was indeed in this episode, for a few seconds. He quit and then attempted to tip over the table when he...

The graphic novel adaptation Jack Said, an action/thriller described as a contemporary film noir in the style of Sin City, is out on DVD and Blu-ray this week.
The film had a London cinema release and writer Paul Tanter, who penned the comic book and the film screenplay, was among guest speakers at the British International Comics Show at the Thinktank in Birmingham last weekend.
He was with Dominic Burns - a Midlands-based actor who appears in the film. Also in the movie are Danny Dyer, Simon Phillips, snooker legend Jimmy White and David O'Hara (Braveheart, Wanted, The Departed) as The Boss.
The movie is a prequel to 2008's Jack Says, the last appearance of actor/comedian Mike Reid who died shortly after filming in 2007.
The trailer for Jack Said is included below.

Earlier this week, I put up a post detailing information on the release of new British movie, 'Jack Said' which stars Danny Dyer and Simon Phillips. 'Jack Said' is based around the graphic novel written by Paul Tanter. Paul has been kind enough to answer some questions posed by HeyUGuys which you can check out after the jump. The all important HeyUGuys question 'What is Your favourite 80's movie' is obviously there in the mix too!
Jack Said has a week long run at The Apollo West End starting 25th September and is then available on DVD and Blu Ray from the 5th October. You can view the trailer and poster for the movie on my previous post.
Check out our interview with Paul after the jump....
