Kit Fisto enters the spotlight.

I love this episode. It's dark and features two of my favourite characters, Kit Fisto voiced by the amazing Phil LaMarr and Grevious who is portrayed as much more of a threat in this episode. Not much else to say, brilliant instalment to the first season. 8.8/10

Lair of Grievous

Keeping the hype going from last, this was yet another particularly strong episode, and one with a great message as well. We get to see Kit Fisto in actual combat, and the great character of Nahdar Vebb, who is a reminder that being over-eager can lead to defeat. That message was a particularly strong part of the episode. But the best part of it all was the development that Grievous got. Not that we got a lot of his backstory, but we got a great sense of how he works and the uneasy being that's actually under all the mechanics. I also found the dialogue to be strong in this episode as it was very light on the humor and found some time to get the great wisdom passed on to the audience. Definitely a strong end to this arc and a great episode on its own.

Grievous Bodily Harm

Following on from what I felt had clearly been the best episode so far (Cloak of Darkness) this episode is similarly excellent. Instead of Ventress we now have General Grievous under pressure from Count Dooku after his string of failures and being put to the test facing Jedi Master Kit Fisto and Fisto's former Padawan, now a young Jedi accompanying him and a group of clones on the mission to capture or destroy Grievous.

There is cool character interplay and good verbal face offs as well as some excellent lightsaber action. Grievous gets some development and we see him both vulnerable and at peak strength as he shows what a powerful adversary he can be.

The storyline and dialogue are really strong and the action is very enjoyable. This is an excellent episode which also has some depth in terms of characterisation and Jedi fears of losing what they stand for by involvement in the war.

My rating: 9.5/10.
