When Dr. Nate Samuels (Idris Elba) is in the lake looking for keys, he's wading almost shoulder-deep in the water. In the next shot when he is out of the water, his shirt is completely dry.
The lion's first bite to the spine would have killed Nate, and punching a big cat evolved to take water buffalo kicks to the face would not work.
At times, the lion prustens: a sound that lions do not make. Prusten is unique to tigers and leopards/jaguars among the big cats. On top of that, it's a non-aggressive sound, specifically showing affection or friendliness, such as between mother and cubs.
When Martin is by the pond or the water body, the crocodiles swiftly move into the water. They are not seen again despite Martin just sitting there for a while or when Mere shows up to take him back or when Nate ventures into the water and stays in it for a considerable amount of time. In any of these cases the results would've been fatal in a near realistic scenario.
Any bite from a full-grown lion like shown in this movie would most like have been fatal Bites from a full grown lion averages about 650 PSI.
The first scene in the aircraft bringing Dr. Samuels, Norah, and Mare into the ranch has pilot requesting permission to land. A voice on the radio responds "Zulu Sierra Papa Mike Victor, Cleared to land." When the aircraft is next seen on the ground while they are unloading the passengers and their luggage, the aircraft registration number is very clearly ZS-8MV.
In a few places as the walkie-talkies are used it's is seen that continuity errors appear where the characters are talking but not pressing the radios transmit button, or listening when the button is pressed in.
In both cases the conversation would have had to have been repeated to make the sense it did.
This may have been a minor error by the actor or the radio audio being dubbed in afterwards slightly out of sequence.
