The long-running drama, which was cancelled by ITV in June, bowed out to 5.58m (23.1%) on ITV1 in the 8pm hour and 139k (0.6%) on ITV1 HD. After the programme, new drama Albert's Memorial appealed to 4.63m (20%) on ITV1, while 151k (0.6%) watched in HD. Earlier on the channel, David Jason: The Battle Of Britain brought in 4.13m (19.6%) in the 7pm hour and 125k (0.6%) on ITV1 HD. Sir David Jason has revealed that he wants to pay tribute to World War II heroes in his new show. Albert's Memorial, which also stars David Warner, focuses on a pair of war veterans called Harry and Frank who vow to give their friend Albert a battlefield burial.
