Sex & Nudity

  • There is a very brief kissing scene at the start of the series.
  • Theres a kiss scene at the end of the second episode, its very brief.
  • A male skrull doesn't have shirt on in the final episode, however, the character in question is in his natural skrull form (kinda reptillian) making his skin green. Although the scene isn't for a sexual purpose, it can be noted.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is shot in the back while strangling another man (Not to death). Bullet hole is visible, with a small amount of blood staining his shirt
  • A man's finger is cut off in detail. You can see the blood dripping from the finger briefly.
  • A man is stabbed in the hand with a kitchen knife, blood shown briefly. His hand is tore apart right after, to remove the knife. The wound is healed immediately.
  • Several skrulls are shot. They are only seen from a distance.
  • A character is shot in the face with some blood splattering. His face is shown disfigured, but it is healed immediately.
  • In the fourth episode, there is a battle sequence with explosions and shooting. Not bloody or gory.
  • A skrull is stabbed to death, no blood.
  • A human is used as a shield from bullets. Some drops of blood can be seen but can be easily missed. It's not gory.
  • The show gets more violent with each episode.
  • Definitely bloodier than most other Marvel entries. Not R-rated territory, but there is more injury detail and blood splatter than you usually see in the MCU (with the exception of Dr. Strange 2). Only Non-Disney MCU content such as Daredevil had more violence than Secret Invasion.
  • There is a prolonged fight scene in a house between two characters and several armed individuals. Moderate amounts of blood is visible for split seconds, in the air on on windows. In the aftermath, a man can be seen hanging from a rope tied around his chest in the background.
  • A man is killed by a character midway through the series. He is strangled with a rope used as a makeshift noose, and can be briefly seen hanging from the ceiling.
  • A man is hung from a meat hook in a butcher's shop.

Profanity

  • Occasional uses of "shit".
  • First episode not even 5 minutes in, the guy says God's name in vain. Turned it off.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Nick Fury is drinking and smoking multiple times.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A person is shot and presumably killed.
  • The butcher scene in episode 2 can feel intense for some viewers.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Gravik crushes a soldier to death with tentacles.
  • Episode 5: Pagon is impaled on Groot's tentacles through the chest (heart). There is a fight in which one skrull is stabbed in the head, and ones throat is slit. Later another skrull is shot in the leg (not to death) and another is shot in the head to death. Not much blood and gore, but this is still the most violent episode.
  • Episode 6 is also very violent. A bunch of blood (although purple, rarely red) Gravik is punched in the chest using a photon beam, a hole is left before he ultimately dies from the injury. At the end, a lot of vigilantes were shown killing actual humans (thought to be skrulls), mostly by firearms.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Maria Hill is shot to death by Gravik pretending to be Nick Fury. She lies in a pool of blood. It is very emotional.
  • G'iah is shot in the chest, revived in the next episode. The scene is in a dark, abandoned forest environment, which makes it slightly intense.
  • Talos' funeral is held in 5th episode. Its obviously a very sad scene. (note: Talos' funeral is also Soren's funeral but the focus is on Talos)
  • Gravik's final Super Skrull appearance might be disturbing to younger viewers.
  • G'iah and Gravik shapeshifting their body parts to other characters (Abomination/Hulk, Drax, Korg, Thanos, Black Order etc.) body parts might be disturbing to some viewers.
  • A character uses a pair of scissors to cut off a Skrull's finger. Somewhat disturbing and unexpected.
