"Batman: The Brave and the Bold" Terror on Dinosaur Island! (TV Episode 2008) Poster

Tom Kenny: Plastic Man

Quotes

  • Plastic Man : [after taking the shape of a shovel and being used to scoop animal poop]  Why does this kind of stuff never happen to Superman?

  • Batman : Grodd's hideout.

Plastic Man : Look at all those luxury yachts. Grodd must have stolen a fortune. And I bet it's all stashed in there.

Batman : We are here to stop whatever Grodd has planned. Don't get any funny ideas.

Plastic Man : Oh, no, I'm cool. Let's go. We're taking Grodd down. Hard.

Batman : Not so fast. Grodd will have this whole valley wired with cameras, trip wires, and sensors.

Plastic Man : They didn't call me the Eel for nothing. Try to keep up, huh?

  • Batman : Dinosaur Island. A mysterious land that exists outside of time, where the normal laws of nature don't apply.

Plastic Man : What makes you say that?

    Batman : The dinosaur.

  • Batman : Forget the money.

Plastic Man : Got it. Save the money.

  • Plastic Man : [taking the shape of a shovel, he realizes Grodd's minions are approaching a pile of animal poop]  Oh, boy. This is not happening. This is not happening!

  • Plastic Man : Are you seeing what I'm seeing? 'Cause I'm seeing gorillas riding pterodactyls with harpoon guns. Stealing a boat.

    Batman : It's Gorilla Grodd.

Plastic Man : It's messed up is what it is.

  • Plastic Man : Man, this place is insane. An island full of dinosaurs? Wish I had my camera.

  • Batman : Thanks for the assist, Fire.

Plastic Man : Nice work, team.

    [seeing Fire]

Plastic Man : Ooh. Hello, sugar.

Batman : [clearing his throat]  Ahem. Where is it?

Plastic Man : Where is what, Bats?

    Batman : The money.

Plastic Man : Oh, yeah, the money.

Batman : [opening the shorts of his leotard, the money falls out]  The rest of it.

Plastic Man : Oh, come on. No finder's fee?

  • Plastic Man : What? You're not still mad about the money thing, are you? Oh, come on. Give me another chance.

Batman : Tell me one reason why I should.

Plastic Man : Because it's your fault I became Plastic Man in the first place.

    [narrating over flashbacks]

Plastic Man : You remember, don't you, Bats? I was a lowlife crook named Eel O'Brian working in Kite Man's gang. But even I didn't deserve what happened that night.

Batman : Jig's up, Kite Man.

[as Batman and Kite Man fight, O'Brian tries to make off with the money; getting hit with a batarang, he falls into a vat of chemicals]

Plastic Man : [return to the present]  Those chemicals turned me into the freak I am today. The only reason you ever helped me is because you feel guilty.

Batman : There are no happy endings to a life of crime, O'Brian. You made your choice. It's up to you to make the best of it.

  • Plastic Man : Come on, Bats. I made a mistake. One tiny, little mistake.

Batman : You were trying to keep that stolen money for yourself.

Plastic Man : Well, yeah. But give me a break, will you?

Batman : I stuck my neck out for you, O'Brian. With the judge, the parole board, the League.

Plastic Man : How long are you gonna hold that over me? You know, I didn't ask for you to help me out. What, are you my dad or something? You're not the boss of me. Batman, if I wanted to feel guilty, I could just call my mom...

Batman : [thinking, as his finger hovers over the eject button]  Just the tap of my finger.
