Warning: Spoilers
A couple of college kids obtain a Druid/Celtic mask off the dark web. Since Dee Wallace didn't sell it to them I question the authenticity. When they put the mask on, Archaeon appears to them in the in-between region. It wasn't to enter our world through a portal. Someone who is not Roddy McDowall comes to their rescue and nothing much to see here.

Not really scary. Plot spoiler, no one dies or even breaks a nail.

Guide; No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Great cover/poster, but not so great movie...

With "Archaon: The Halloween Summoning" being a horror movie, of course I would eventually find myself sitting down to watch it, because I am a huge fan of the horror genre after all.

Well, I must say that writers Paul Ernest and Michael White certainly had some interesting enough concepts for the storyline and plot. However, the movie as a whole and entertainment-wise just didn't really cut it for me. Sure, "Archaon: The Halloween Summoning" was watchable, but this was by no means an outstanding or particularly memorable horror experience.

For me it was the mainly the pacing of the movie that dragged the enjoyment of the movie down, as well as the overall lack of anything interesting or even remotely scary. For a horror movie, then I have to say that "Archaon: The Halloween Summoning" was a very, very bland experience.

The storyline was just held back because there wasn't a particularly well-working horror feeling to it. The movie just seemed a bit too shallow in that aspect. It didn't really feel that the characters in the movie were fearing for their lives and well-being.

The acting in the movie was for the most parts actually fair enough. One has to keep in mind the limitations of the script and storyline that was imposed upon the actors and actresses.

I was initially suckered in by the movie's rather interesting and appealing cover/poster. Which ultimately turned out to oversell the movie greatly, because the colorful cover/poster had absolutely nothing to do with the brown-toned and dull-looking demonic entity that milled about as a lanky, non-threatening creature.

All in all, "Archaon: The Halloween Summoning" is not a great horror experience, and you will not be a poorer individual if you opt to skip on this title entirely, trust me. My rating of director Paul Ernest's 2020 horror movie "Archaon: The Halloween Summoning" is a mere three out of ten stars. I managed to watch the entire movie, but I can honestly say that I am not returning to watch the movie a second time.

Warning: Spoilers
That was a horrible movie. The best part was that it wasn't found footage aka shakycam. But the "professional" filming here wasn't much better. The sound quality was the worst, like the actors were as far away from a microphone as they could be. Then the soundtrack music would be at regular volume. There was no actual acting done. All lines were delivered in an emotionless monotone, even when they were supposed to be scared sick. A team of robots would've been better. The movie wasn't scary at all. It was BORING. The demon was so dark you couldn't see it or the "in-between" where the demon is trapped. And it never did anything. One guy does die but you can't see it and literally nobody in the movie even notices. The end was flat out stupid. It didn't make sense. Seriously I would not recommend you watch this. It put me to sleep, I'm still trying to shake off the stupor to write this review.

Great start.

I was impressed by the opening credits and the first scene. I've been a fan of synthesizer music going back to The Monkees show, when Micky Dolenz was one of the first people to play (and own one). Yes, I am very old. Great aerial views. Idiot younger brother decides to buy a Halloween mask in the Dark Web. Add to that, his stupidity makes him trace it back to where it was shipped from. Older brother, who seemed to have a brain, decides to verify brother's story. From then on, the movies starts to get dumber and dumber. First 38 minutes, great, then they start drinking. Too bad, I had high hopes. I hope who wrote the rest of the movie got fired for destroying what could have been a great horror movie.

Here you have a film with absolutely NO redeeming qualities. Everyone associated with the production of this wreck should abandon filmmaking and get jobs chipping paint. What a waste. I'm ashamed to have my name associated with it but I must provide a public service announcement so others don't waste their time on it too. Go watch concrete dry instead, more entertaining.

I couldn't do it, sorry. The acting was terrible and the story line was ridiculous.

Warning: Spoilers
The acting was ok, not stellar but that seemed like mostly due to the poor script. There was no real sense of fear for their lives, although "Jackson" came close. I gave it 3 stars because it is watchable, and story had potential. It just wasn't very developed. The demon is barely glimpsed and doesn't do anything other than lurk around and whisper names. I can't blame them for being a little anxious, rather than terrified. The "saviour" at the end is convenient, and even with the mysterious phone call adds little to the overall plot. Is he good or bad? Who knows? He helped them, but was sent by the lady that made the mask, it would actually work as a foreshadowing of someyhing, if they had bothered with some character development of either one. But with no indication of intentions, you're just left with, i guess they've been through a slightly stressful few days and things are back to normal for all.

I almost stopped watching it just seemed to drag along with nothing happening .. it reminded me of the few times when you're stuck at home and start watching daytime soaps , they same slow boring scenes , people sitting around talking and the same kind of stilted acting . It's also about that scary , not even a bit . The sound was a bit annoying as sometimes the back ground music was too loud over their voices . Like a soap I just watched to find out what happened in the end of that storyline , but I really only kept it going because I was also looking at the internet on my phone .

This may be the greatest film of ally ike

Archaon negs. Basically watch it is the film of all time. The visual effects were made with CGI and the soundtrack was music. The horror was made with the intent of being scary and the college kids were in college. The antagonist of this film was in fact quite antagonising for the protagonists, who were quite protagonising to the antagonist. We definitely followed the protagonists, almost as if they were main characters. The actors were definitely playing their rules and it was certainly filmed by a camera. This film is definitely a piece of cinema that has been watched. I would rate this out of 10. If you ask anybody about this film, they would agree with this. This film is definitely the length of its runtime. The credits without a doubt had people who worked in the film in them.
