I don't think that The Pied Piper of Hamelin is Burbank Animation Studios at their very best(I happen to like their Count of Monte Cristo very much), but it is enjoyable enough. The animation has some colourful backgrounds but the character designs lack finesse coming across as stiff, the script occasionally feels corny and there were times where the story did feel rather padded( to fill out the 50 minute running time(I do feel generally that Burbank adapt stories that while timeless are not quite long enough to fill the time). However, the story mostly is simple and charming, while the characters are likable, the voice acting is decent(much more consistent than their Puss in Boots) and the music is sweet and whimsical moments also.
