Jake Quickenden has been confirmed to be entering the jungle in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
Just four weeks ago, Jake was singing as a finalist in The X Factor before being the fifth act to be eliminated from the competition.
This got us thinking. This must be the quick(enden)est time that an X Factor finalist has found themselves on a different reality TV show so far - but which other acts traded series after attempting to secure a contract with Syco? Here they all are in order of time taken to do so.
1. Jake Quickenden (4 weeks)
Series: 2014
Finished: 12th
After reaching the Judges' Houses in 2012, Quickenden made it to the final 16 this year. He tried desperately to prove that he wasn't just a pretty face with a ripped physique, but it hasn't taken him long to get his kit off for his pre-I'm a Celebrity photoshoot.

Celebrity Butcher, Animals on Ice, Strictly Greengrocers... Thankfully none of these reality shows has actually been made, but worryingly we could easily believe they might be in some dim and depressing future. For every barmy-but-great reality series (I'm A Celeb), there have been at least twice as many stinkers (Back To Reality, Celeb Love Island). In tribute to the shows that flopped, we've brought together our top five worst reality series of all time! 5. CelebAir
"A real plane, flying to real places, staffed by real celebrities!" Well at least the ITV2 pitch was half right, because there were definitely real planes involved. However, we'd be stretching it a bit to categorise Johnny Shentall, Chico and Amy Lamé as genuine celebs. CelebAir sounded awful on paper and didn't get much better (more)...

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl ended its second series with just 534,000 (3.2%) on Thursday night. Over its eight episodes, the drama - starring Billie Piper as a high-class hooker - has averaged 614,000 (3.8%). While still impressive ratings for ITV2, the average is down an alarming 39% on the 1.01m (6.5%) average for series one, which aired last year. Also concluding its run on Thursday night was celebrity reality show CelebAir. The final episode, in which rapper Lisa Maffia was crowned the winning trolley dolly, drew 254,000 (1.3%) in the 8pm hour. The series began strongly eight weeks ago in its original Tuesday, 9pm timeslot, drawing an average of 549,000 (2.8%). Viewers quickly checked out, however, and by week four the audience was down to just 163,000 (0.9%). The show was then moved to become part of the channel's "Xxl Thursday" lineup (more)...
