A great Trickster story again with lots of memorable moments inside these two parters. And it did make me feel emotional from time to time which is good

The Script The script was good bye Russell T Davies and great powerful message to the script also

Concept A great concept with the idea of Sarah Jane going back in time to see why her parents left her, only to find out that they left her alone when she was a baby to keep her safe well protected. And the Grask has always got some great stuff that he says so he is important to have on this particular arc.

Why I gave it a 9/10 The story is very compelling to me and I love the Trickster's voice and he is the scariest in the SJA. And I did like the idea of them going back in time just feels like it is there to enjoy. And once well paste and Character driven story for the people who are on this. And overall a great story and it makes perfect sense. So easily for me 9/10

Because there is always room for improvements, warning Spoiler alert

Just brilliant.

A portal opens up, giving Sarah Jane the chance to meet the parents she lost as a baby.

Whatever happened to Sarah Jane, the next step, she made a fierce enemy with The Trickster, and it seems that here he's out for revenge, dangling a carrot in front of her, and tricking her into condemning Earth's very future.

I cannot give this any other score than a ten, it's awesome, watching this, and comparing it to recent Doctor who, The Chibnall era, I find this infinitely superior, much, much better. The Trickster represents a real threat, and Sarah Jane's story is incredible.

Sarah Jane has given snippets away this series about her personal life, this episode delves straight in, we learn about her childhood, and the sadness she faced in later life, it also explains the impact The Doctor had on her life.

The sooner Russel T Davies is back in charge of Doctor Who, the better.

Class, 10/10.

Warning: Spoilers
When Sarah returns a boy who has slipped through a time fissure to 1951, she realises she has found a way to meet the parents she never knew. Is it a trap? Sarah and Luke fall victim to a revenge plot by the Trickster.

God damn, another of my top 10 favorite episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Love it when it comes to this, the Trickster comes back, the plot's great, emotional endings.

I get why this story is called "The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith", it's when like someone for an example wants to change a horrible event that happened in their lifetime and just remove all of that pain. Yeah, I get that. For an example when Marty was with Doc showing him the controls, a group of random gang just randomly came and fired at Doc, instantly killing him. But, Marty goes back in the past to the younger Doc for help and get back to his present time and revert what just happened. I love when similar plots are like that.

I just love this story, I wish I could write this review longer but I'm insanely tired. =^[

10/10!

Review of both parts:

This story would be a great addition to any series of Doctor Who. It has a clever, thought provoking plot, danger and excitement, great moving performances and a strong time travel idea of changing your own past.

Sarah Jane is given a temptation of being able to change the death of her parents when she was a baby but clearly this has huge risks of changing timelines and the involves the return of a former foe of Sarah and her teenage companions.

This has thoughtful exploration of someone's obvious desire to change a tragedy in their life, the emotion of seeing your lost loved ones, the clever use of time travel to create an interesting, exciting plot and a menacing villain. It is one of the best stories of The Sarah Jane Adventures but is easily good enough to stand proudly alongside great Doctor Who stories too.

The cast are brilliant and I must mention how impressive the young main cast members are in this and most other episodes. Elisabeth Sladen is a class act and her acting is flawless. The dialogue here is strong and the plot is thrilling and moving. A brilliant story all round.

My ratings: Part 1 - 9.5/10, Part 2 - 9/10. Overall - 9.25/10.
