A well-known psychotherapist Oleg has been hiding truth - his wife has gone missing. Client sessions have become a torture, his mother is forcing him to find a girlfriend, and relief is brought only by alcohol, antidepressants and drugs.
Oleg's mother Kira learns that her son is planning to become a single father and tries to stop him. Vera continues to keep her pregnancy secret, and can't get used to Julia, who has become the third person in her relationship with Kolya.
Oleg is approached by Pyotr, a volunteer who worked with Marina. Turns out she had borrowed a lot of money shortly before she disappeared. Kira gets contact of the surrogate mother and tries to talk her out of the affair with the baby.

Vera has to leave Oleg and temporarily stay at the place of her doctor friend. Oleg learns that money from Marina's account was withdrawn by her mother. During an argument Artem confesses to Sasha that he is gay.
After Oleg's overdosing Kira tries help her son and even returns to her psychologist. Vera tells Kostya of her hidden pregnancy. Kolya confesses Nadya that they cannot have any relationship.
