You'll recognize stuff from the phone calls...That's about it...

Warning: Spoilers
I've been a HUGE fan of Junkyard Willie and the Touch Tone Terrorists for quite some time now, and was eagerly awaiting this movie's release. However, the makers of this movie couldn't get funding to have it released in theaters. At first I thought maybe the jokes and references were just too crude, but after watching the film I now understand why movie companies were reluctant to release it. Once the movie opens up, we realize they got the PERFECT person to play Junkyard Willie. This straight to DVD release offers the ability to watch the movie with the Touch Tone Terrorists dialogue dubbed in, or the original actor's voices (hint: Use the Touch Tone Terrorists' voices.) Right off the bat the movie held promise: We see Junkyard Willie hitting Jim Bob in the head with a hubcap! Sounds good. Things get really strange, though, as we see some of the situations the "crew" gets themselves into. Like the stolen credit card and the trips to the strip club just aren't natural. The weird song and dance routine that Blade gets into in the mail room too are just odd. Junkyard Willie as a gynecologist? Funny as hell, but some scenes could have been done better. Are we to believe that a hot woman goes into a gynecologist's office for a massage? True, there are laughs to be had, but some are downright ridiculous. The wheelchair boxing incident was, well, interesting, especially since the combatants couldn't really hit each other. And what happened to the dating game I kept seeing in previews? It never appeared, and some of the other scenes from trailers and previews were altered by the time the movie was "released." I'm still not sure exactly HOW I feel about the movie, but I can definitely point to some hilarious highlights. Hearing the "nasty dump" routine and seeing it in person was side splitting. Jim Bob's stuttering was funny in some spots, not so much in others (got really annoying in "sexual encounters" with strip club women). Those of you who are familiar with the Touch Tone Terrorists will "get" this movie, others probably won't. I found the Jerky Boys' movie to be better done, but this movie was still worth watching once. The true highlights are watching what happens to these customer's packages at JPX. THAT is real hilarity.

I love this film. I love Junkyard Willie! Too often movies like this are not recognized. It's ashame that Lost in Transit isn't or wasn't in theaters.. I wish it would have had better distribution. Could you imagine Junkyard and Jim Bob on a 40' screen! I think the Junkyard Willie movie will be a classic in time to come. Self distributed movies rarely see the light of day but I hope Lost in Transit can have a second wind as I think it deserves an audience. I love the TTT cd's and all f the characters as well.

To quote Junkyard Willie; "What'choo Talking' 'bout!"

The best movie I've ever seen in my life!

Fine, okay, I'm exaggerating in the title just a little. I've been a fan of the Touch Tone Terrorists for more than 10 years now. Most of their prank calls are brilliant and, just like the Jerky Boys, RePete created some awesome, lovable characters in his calls - Blade, Willie and JimBob. I was excited to see the movie and watched it with a few friends this week. I was only slightly let down, as I wasn't expecting much from it.

It was a fun movie to watch and I will definitely be watching it again, but probably never again while I'm completely sober. The production seemed flawless. I was constantly amazed with the professional looking sets and props. For a low budget film, it seems like they spared no expense making this movie look great. Every line of the main character's voice was dubbed over and I didn't notice a single discrepancy with the mouth/voice, which was impressive too.

The acting was what I expected. The 3 main characters did an excellent job on their parts, but all the extras were pretty awful. And there were a lot of extras, most of them seeming to be plucked from the sketchiest strip clubs available.

The movie's main problem was the plot. It started out promising as a movie about a bunch of shipping company employees doing wacky things, but eventually went all over the place with each character having their own crazy set of misadventures. It was all fun to watch and I admit that I laughed a lot, but after awhile it seemed like it was just a bunch of bad SNL skits all strung together that would never end. I know it's stupid to complain about the plot in a movie like this, but I'm doing it anyway.

All in all, it was a fun movie and I'm sure I'll see it again. I can't imagine anyone who's not into the Touch Tone Terrorist prank calls "getting" this movie, so be sure to at least go to the TTT website and listen to all the hilarious prank calls clips. If the prank calls make you laugh, then you should be able to appreciate most of the humor in this movie too.

HA HA HA. I am still laughing from the movie! It was MUUUCH better than I expected! In fact I wish this movie is made into a TV show! BRAVO This is absolutely Junkyard Willie and he is just as I pictured him! Much better than The Jerky Boys Movie by far, and I could watch it again and again and it would still be funny as ever! It did have its boring parts that I left to get a drink and popcorn for, mostly when other characters not from touch tone terrorists came on, however the movie is very funny and is one of the best Low budget films ever. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good long laugh, and anyone who is annoyed by "Bird Brains"! 9/10
