Rabies and Diet
claudio_carvalho9 May 2023
After the autopsy of Brent Kelly, Dr. Robbins is frustrated with the mysterious death of the man since it is the third in a few days that he is not able to resolve. Brent's mother Darla claims that her son had seizures and she tried to revive him. Dr. Robbins convinces Catherine to go with him to interview Darla again, but Catherine is attacked by Darla that bites her hand and drops dead. Soon Dr. Robbins learns that the victims died of rabies and the only point in common is a tattoo parlor owned by Dr. Shaw, a former coroner from Reno. Meanwhile, Greg and Riley investigate the death of Kayla Nootens, who was found dead under the truck of her neighbor that called the police. Greg follows the blood trail until the house of Diana and Rhonda. They explain to Greg and to Det. Vartann that they were participating with Kayla of a diet competition and they suspect of Kyla's ex-boyfriend Elvis Rodriguez.

"The Gone Dead Train" is an episode of "CSI" with two segments: the first one is great, with mysterious cases and surprising resolution. The wonderful soundtrack with blues songs is a plus in this show. The second case is average and predictable. My vote is seven.

Rabidity
Hitchcoc2 March 2021
When people begin to die from what appears to be a strain of rabies, Catherine becomes a possible victim. This is a little bit confusing in places as the guys work to run down the cause of the mini-epidemic. It is also the only show I have ever seen where a person dies from a lethal pork chop.

Another pointless filler episode
interestingstuff10 July 2022
I guess when you make 300+ episodes of a show there will be so many pointless filler episodes that feel super forced and really reaching. This show has 100+ such episodes and this one of those episodes. You won't miss anything by skipping this one since it is super pointless and forced.

You can clearly tell that writers are running out of material and they are really reaching to even come up with a story but mostly failing miserably. This show should have ended after the 4th season because there are maybe 10-15 good episodes combined in the last 10 seasons which averages 1 good episode per season.
