It had so much more potential, rushed out the last 3-4 episodes. Could have built on the characters much more, needed more episodes. Gone from somehow real and mysterious to magical and mystical very fast. Felt in the ending just like Promised No Nederland, just wanted to tie it up no matter how. Was building up to be a greater anime I don't know why they are doing it this way recently!!

Fena Pirate princess started on a good note, giving some adventurous vibes. But as the story progressed, it all just slipped away. Wanted to see a better character development in Yukimaru, but in the end he becomes a normal person, somewhat similar to Abel. Liked the ninja duo bros way too much, but less character focus stole their limelight too.

Saw the first four episodes, and must say I'm hooked. Great animation, wonderful and atmospheric scenery, and a good pace of introducing characters.
I definitely recommend this one to the fans of the sea adventure tales.

Ok, yes it is extremely beautiful and the plot has a lot of potential from the start but nearing the end the drama gets weak and the way they try to incorporate the supernatural is not the best.
I think that if they had just kept up how they started they could have made a show with multiple seasons and not this short drama that in the end feels more like a not too impressive movie.

I'd say this is a lot like the old classic 90's anime. Good story line, solid characters and simple comedy. You can't beat but as good as it is for me the ending fell short. It was a good ending! It just felt like there were a few episodes missing towards the end. Even though you get a great backstory for some very important characters.
The story line is very well thought out and not too overly detailed but detailed enough that you do have to pay attention. Doing that is not easy but I think that accomplished that here.
The comedy is very simple but put in the right places and makes it feel more like real one liners that you remember from way back when that fit the moment so well.
Overall this is a good beginner anime I think and I'm glad to see them making it!

When I first read the name of this anime , I expected a strong fl and of course a pirate as the title promises. Well I got neither. In fact her and the rest of her friends did not have anything to do with being a pirate. Just because you travel using a boat that doesn't make you a pirate.
In the first episode we got introduced to our fl, fena. A person who has gone through so much in the past and the present, and is about to get sold, yet the way she acts don't convey that all, I really don't know how to explain it. You'll get what i mean the moment you watch the first episode.
She is supposedly "special", that's what they hint to in most episodes and we don't get know in what way until the last two episodes. Imagine.
The whole time I was watching this show, I had one conclusion, that if this girl were to have a power of some sort it'd be crying and just being a burden to people. After she got saved by the ml for the hundredth time, he got shot, the rest of the crew stepped in later to help them both. MS GIRL JUST PUT A TOWEL ON HIS HEAD AND THE CREW WERE LIKE " FENA SAVED HIM" HOW ?!!
Oh and remember when I said that there were hints that fena was special, ahh yes it turns out that this world all of a sudden had magic. And when did we get to know that? THE LAST TWO EPISODES!!
WHERE IS THE BUILD UP ?? And it just doesn't make sense how the crew would risk their lives for fena even though they've barely known her. Again we ask the famous question, WHERE IS THE BUILD UP! Ok bye.
