One of the best episodes of the whole show

Absolutely hysterical episode, and probably the better of this two parter. This episode is a perfect example of just how stupid Charlie can be, how easily influenced Mac is, and how careless and emotionless Dennis is. The scene where Mac buys the wedding dress is one of the show's best, not because of any genius thinking behind, but the opposite - it's simply hilarious. The image of him wearing the dress while he and Charlie blow up Dee's car is impossible to forget, and gets even better when you consider the macho persona Mac associates with himself. It may have been unintentional at the time, but plays in nicely with a recurring theme from later seasons that Mac may in fact be gay, something they hadn't touched on as much yet. Great episode from a great show.

I've never laughed this hard in my life. I rewatch this episode and part2 every time i feel sad or stressed. This episode is the cure of my depression. 100000/10.

I'm halfway through season 8 but this and part 2 is the greatest episode so far

I try to rate episodes as objectively as possible, knowing of course it is subjective...and also have some distinguishing between 7's 8's 9's and 10's.

My 10's should be different from 9's. Should be markedly different/better IMO.

A 7 is fine...but not amazing.

10 for me is absolutely almost perfection.

I try to reserve my 10's.

9's are near perfection, but not quite a 10.

8's are better than 7...but def not a 10 and far enough away from 10 that not a 9 either.

So.... I think I haven't rated this yet bc I don't know how to rate it.

Def not a 7.

Either an 8 or 9, but trying to decide if it is good enough to be a 10.

Gang tries to win an award is a 10 for me.

Community's remedial chaos theory is a 10.

So....does this episode belong in the company of those. I still can't decide. I think I have to rewatch 10's to decide if this belongs there.

This episode definitely doesn't come to mind when I think of great episodes....but as I watch it, it is done so well. The plot idea isn't great. It's fine. Unique...but not a rarity line or episode that sticks out in memory. (Probably because there are 30 others that are better that I think of before) But the scenes and dialogue and novelty just make it so enjoyable to watch...which is a HUGE part of my rating. Did I like it...was it funny...was it enjoyable..would watch it again and again and again? Is it enjoyable on additional viewings? That's a big part of my rating determination.

Does this belong with 9 and 10?

Def 8 without a doubt. But...9 or 10?

It never did jump out at me as a 9 or 10 necessarily...so I'm struggling.

Hmmmmm.....I think I'm still gonna reserve judgment.
