Get Down Tonight was another excellent episode of "Swingtown"

Warning: Spoilers
With the Beijing Summer Olympics over, I finally got to see the "Swingtown" episode that aired during the Opening Ceremonies. As Janet leaves for her first day at work as a typist, Roger is doing the household chores. A friend visits Tom and Trina with a proposal to invest in a new disco club he's opening. The Deckers are certainly willing to visit the new place. With all the crisis in their family, Bruce and Susan try to find some alone time together what with daughter Laurie trying to get some driving lessons with former teacher/now boyfriend Doug. Their other child B.J. gets invited by neighbor girl Samantha to come to her house to see visiting cousin Lisa. Miller boy Ricky initially refuses then he sees what Lisa looks like...That's all I'll mention here except I like the direction this episode went especially when Roger and Susan finally kissed. Sparks definitely flew there! There were also a couple of sweet ones between B.J. and Samantha especially in contrast to the disaster between Ricky and Lisa. And while part of me still feels some "ick" between Laurie and Doug, at least the scenes are shown with restraint. Of course, the fact that this is on network television may have something to do with that. Overall, this was another excellent episode of "Swingtown". I can't wait for the next one so until then...
