I find it interesting that just because Tony was the lead investigator on the case, Tim and Ziva were happy to sit back to watch him unravel. He would have deligated responsibility's to them. I'm sure Tony didn't track the money, or verify that Renny was in the country while the transfers where taking place. Those tasks would have gone to Tim, Ziva and possibly Michelle (who began her field agent status during that time). They should not have been happy that he was losing it because it would have meant that they let him down for not doing their job properly. It was the team who got Renny and it was the team who stuffed it up.
Not happy that this was not noted at all the whole time.
