What happened to getting Family together??? Loss of 2 Stars for the Review

Good Episode, my uncle was a Korea Army Vet.
In this episode only one major (Set) of questions ... Nora had Tulleys child, would be Tulleys younger brothers Nephew. Why weren't they shown to connect after the Funeral? His younger brother gets the Pocket watch, and also would have been a good time for them to meet. Not doing this in the episode getting a Marine his Semper Fi back ... does not get the Marines Son to meet his Paternal Family??? This is a Loss of TWO stars at least
Some may thought NCIS would be part of this, but since he was classified a Deserter is why at the Start NCIS would not be part ... but the moment it was leaning NOT Deserter (Like finding him with a Bullet, and even in the 55 Gal Drum) should have brought in NCIS at least in the Info. Their Boss (USN CDR) John Stillman would have know this, so also places a USN Veteran Character getting it wrong??? NCIS & Cold Case were both on CBS at this time. Wow what a Cross over that would have been. Perfect way to even "HINT" then for a Philly NCIS??? IF NCIS LA could have member of the Team from LAPD, why not a NCIS on Cold Case??? CBS Missed big time here
