In this episode, we are introduced to Stuart and his comic book store. He is portrayed first as a talented guy with art credentials and a nice personality. He even gets a date with Penny which Sheldon ruins. Eventually, the depressed Leonard ends up with Howard and Raj at a pickup bar. Of course, this is not going to work out;

In this episode Stuart isn't portrayed like a total user yet. He even gets a date with Penny. I would kind of prefer if they left him like that. But it was very funny when he said that it is too late for coffee. Almost as good as George Costanza. Howard and Leonard hitting on the girls was also a good part. And Sheldon talking about "anything can happen Thursday" was a very funny part of the episode.

The Hofstadter Isotope was another very funny episode of "The Big Bang Theory"

Warning: Spoilers
This is another episode of "The Big Bang Theory" from last season that I taped during the original air date but only catching up with right now to prepare for the season premiere on Monday. Unfortunately, this one stopped in the middle because the VHS cassette was warped during that time. Fortunately, I read the full synopsis but still, I wished I had been able to see the whole thing. Anyway, it seems Sheldon doesn't like Thai food or maybe he's flabbergasted that it's "Anything Can Happen" Thursday instead of a traditional Thursday. The others just want to get out of their rut (though Sheldon calls it "consistency") so Howard suggests bar hopping. Sheldon, however, wins (because of his being Sheldon) and they go to the comic shop even though they went there last night. Penny encounters them and asks Sheldon to get her 13-year-old nephew a comic which gets Sheldon "correcting" her on the fact (for him) that a "comic" has funny animals. Not wanting to hear any more, Penny agrees to go with them. It's there they encounter Stuart, the store's owner who's also an artist. It also seems he likes Penny and she likewise since he has a cool sense of humor. Then next night when the nerds go back to tradition, Leonard, depressed about Stuart's luck with Penny (they're seen about to attend Stuart's art gallery), tells Howard he wants to go to the bars. I'll stop there and just say it was when Stuart and Sheldon, after arguing about Batman, find Penny asleep on her couch was when the tape stopped. Otherwise, this was a very funny episode I watched and as soon as I view the rest of it, I'll add my comments here. I've got several more second season eps to watch before the season premiere so until then... Update-8/18/10: Just watched the rest of this episode on my DVR. Hilarious with the way Howard and Leonard had trouble getting women while Raj got lucky after a few drinks...

This having to do with Leonard and penny. If if wasn't for Sheldon asking Stuart that question in the question regarding the comic book in the hallway. Stuart and penny might have hooked up😕😏

This is an important episode in a way because it shows that Penny just might be interested in dating someone like Leonard.

This storyline worked a little better than the storyline in the bar I felt.

Ok overall.
